This interview was filmed when all the episodes except the last 2 were released....Jin young said in an interview 8 months after filming ended that he still wasn't over Seulki & that it's been a while since someone had such impact on him & that watching back he realized how he misunderstood a lot of things & fumbled their chance & that he understands her decision but still can't watch the decision in the finale ....he stops watching when it shows the scene of him walking towards her
did he really? we all know when he dropped the ball. Guess he played hard to get to hard. I'm happy to hear that he really liked her. If only seul-ki had followed her heart. what could have been
@@itstainatime he liked her so much yet he didn't think she felt the same cuz he was too hung on the fact that she was still giving a chance to jongwoo, it was unfortunate for both since she misunderstood his genuine concern about their future for rejection....he was thinking waaaay ahead & missed the obvious which is clearing their current status before discussing the far future...the interview I mentioned wasn't the only time he talked about how much he liked her & how he will always support her ...among all the cast of season 2 Seulki Jin young & Sejun remain the closest & are always showing up for each other, he was present at both her graduation & the press conference for her acting debut despite his hectic schedule

It really was too bad Se-jun wasn't there. I heard that there was a scheduling conflict because he was filming something else, but I don't know for sure. I thought it was hilarious when Seul-ki said "Woah!" to Jin-young's first appearance, then she repeated it in an overly-exhaggerated manner at the rewatch. Absolutely hilarious. I also liked seeing So-e at this stage, more confident, happy, and her reactions to Se-jun (like when he first appeared or when he picked her) were very cute. But the best reactions were definitely to, as Nadine put it, "the iconic scene!"
As a quick note, I totally understand being upset with Yoong Jae about not being loyal. I don't know 100% if this is true, but apparently Yoong Jae was grilled about why he helped Jin Young in the pit and he said it was because during their time there, he became good friends with Seul Ki. Makes sense as he was one of the only males not going after her. He said at the time, he knew she liked Jin Young. And I mean, yeah we can all see that as viewers as well. For that reason, he decided to step in and help Jin Young as that's what she likely would've truly wanted. They competed initially for like 20+ minutes but when it took too long to end, that's why he ended up trying to help Jin Young; he really was trying to let them fight it out one on one but it was taking far too long. I respect him for this if it's true. Everyone else was trying to push Seul Ki and Jong Woo together. Everyone was basically team Jong Woo. But Yoong Jae was the only one who was team Seul Ki. He cared what SHE wanted, not just having pity for Jong Woo as everyone got to know him and probably wanted him to go to paradise with her. It's sad because both men like her and it's a tough situation but to me, who SHE wanted was most important. And most seemed to disregard that because 'poor Jong Woo.'
