- Mason Ho and a gang of really good surfers ride a perfect Hawaiian sandbar on the North Shore of Oahu. This particular surf spot is usually loaded with rocks so to have it filled with sand and break like this is rare.

I remember years ago reading an article in one of the surf mags I subscribed to at the time. It was an interview with Michael Ho. They asked him about his kids. Mason was still a little grom. Michael said, ah! He’s still doing his little hot dog shit. doing airs and spins n shit. You could tell pops wasn’t too thrilled about the new generation of progressive surfing. But my favorite part of this video is at the very end when pops takes one look at the board and knows exactly where that board belongs, in heaving barrels. But when mike says “what’s that a 5’10? And mason tells him it’s a 6’1, I felt when Mike says, “okay that’s what I like to hear.”🤙🏽
Imho Mace is one of the best surfers on the planet, master of the lost art of the kick stall, and nobody surfs novelty waves and exposed reef spots better. I never get tired of watching him rip

Yeah, I was gonna say, I watch a LOT of surf videos from all over the world, but Mason's surfing is just more critical, yet smooth and stylish, and he pulls off stuff consistently that defies logic. He ranks best at least in the style and speed categories.
By far my favorite surfer is mason , his style is insane , the Ho family is epic ,Stay blessed !

Mason gots dat styleee. Could easily win a World title, if he chose comp scene. Soul surfing more betta. One of the best surfers in my opinion, but I was teenager during 80s so I've seen a lot...kooks and legends!
