Was not into demon hunter before I got a add on Spotify on there new album and the album completely changed my view on them this has to be the best album 2017 for metal it's been dry so far
I first heard Demon Hunter on OST for a game called Killing Floor 2. Collapsing played during the end of a wave with one or two enemies left. I kept them alive just to hear the whole song. To this day, 6 years later, Demon Hunter has been my #1 favorite band. Even saw them live in 2019. My grandkids will know DH. 🤘
Jake Barrett DH is a great band to listen to for healing emotional/spiritual wounds. The World Is A Thorn album was perfect timing for me when I went through a rough patch. Just sharing to give you some encouragement!

In Flames still amazing to me. For me they just grow and are even better than before. Hey, I'm not saying the older songs were bad, cause they still amazing, but for me personally, they are much more mature. Many people dont like them anymore, but still my favorite band and badass to me.

yeah, pretty much, i like the music and i like the lyrics. I'm just more used to harder music. Not bad songs or album by any means, i just prefer harder stuff, though i do prefer the vocals when its clear and clean
This for example has more of a Seventh Day Slumber feel to it than im used to from Demon Hunter imo. Even sounds a bit like Rojas to me. But i love SDS, so thats not a problem
Red Alexander Demon Hunter has a very diverse sound for heavy bands. They make sure to mix in a few ballads per album but can bring thrash and grunge at any time. Check out their other albums if you haven’t already.
I don't know how, but when I actually played the album in its entirety, the singles that didn't really sound good to me sounded better played in order. Hearing Trying Times lead into Jesus Wept sort of made it for me.
KennyBoy Same here :), when Half as Dead came out as a single I was like "okay... this is gonna be more mellow then usual" but I was pleasantly surprised after listening through the album :). Demon Hunter has definitely changed over the years, some say their best albums are in the past.. I believe we may still see something better yet ;), they just get better and better imo. I really enjoyed the album and I can't wait for the next... even though it's probably a few years out XD. God bless :)
