2 years ago I knew nothing about flowers, I used your instructions exactly for a clients house I watch and the results were absolutely amazing! They were astonished and so was I!! Thank you so much! 😊
Thank you for being thorough in giving instructions on how to plant the window box. I love it how you give each plant its own comfortable amount of space. So many people just force and cram an impossible number of plants into one tight container.
Dang gir!! You're very Lucky to have a Dad to have this business, and I Know he's Proud of You ..and your Mom and sisters as I've seen! How Wonderful!!! Nice lessons! Thank You! 💐
Can't wait to see the progress. I like the way you gave all the details including how you planted the 4-pack all together. I'd love to see you do a video on a part-sun/shady window box if you have time.
Kyra D Thanks Kyra! I tried to be very detailed, glad you liked it! The window boxes in this video if that is the easiest, they only get sun till about noon and then they are in the shade the rest of the day so this combination should work
@@TheLawrenceGardenFarm My window boxes get a little morning sun and shade pretty much the rest of the day. I'm using a lot of coleus but always looking for other ideas!
Casey...so happy to see yr video. Just when I am planting my window boxes but they are a lot smaller than yours. I love the idea of putting so many plants in too. Look forward to watching them grow. Planted up my hanging baskets. Had to look back on your videos on how to trim the tops off the petunias 🤗let's hope I did it right!! Missed seeing your little gardening helpers. Hope u & all the family are well. Love from across the pond in Wales 💖 xx
I agree with the osmocote because of the experience I had this past summer. Before I used to just maybe use the plant sticks the job's makes I agree with the asthma coat because of the experience I had this past summer. Before I used to just maybe use the plants sticks the job's makes and then try to use Miracle Grow. But after watching. But after watching and I hope you don't mind me mentioning her channel Maria's Garden she's a delightful lady that owns her own succulent Nursery and I learned from her to use osmocote. You love succulents so you might enjoy her Channel if you ever have time to watch other people's videos. This lady even publishes her phone number on a lot of her videos so if you have questions you can call her on Fridays. But she really uses a lot of osmocote in her cuttings of which she reminds me of you because you grow all of your plants and so does she. With That Big Greenhouse you have you might enjoy getting some desert roses what she grows from seeds that she imports from Thailand and she also Imports grafted desert roses. I hope you don't mind me mentioning her on your Channel she has thousands of subscribers so I'm not trying to drum up business for her in any way shape or form. Back to the osmocote and using it last summer in addition to liquid fertilizer like Miracle-Gro my plants or the best ever and I'm 70 years old almost 71. And if anybody's interested in using osmocote they should buy the largest package available because it's much cheaper if you buy the big bag of it rather than just a little jar of it. A question for you after my long comment and I hope you don't mind long comments because someone really got mad at me the other day and read me the riot act via email so I apologize if my comments are too long. But my question is did your husband make those window boxes and how did you attach them to the house since I'm sure they would be very heavy
Casey, your videos are very easy to follow. Could you create downloadable tutorials, and/or offer cd(s) for purchase? I would pay for either. My succulents are staying alive because of your guidance. I just prefer to have something on CD or downloaded onto my computer into a library I've created.
So beautiful I wish I lived closer to y'all where I could shop at your nursery I would love to have some of those flowers. I have to go to several place to find everything here where I live lol
What do you do with the old soil ? Compost or something or just throw it away ? I'm a relatively new gardener so, I ask lots of questions. We just discovered your channel today... we subscribed and look forward to learning more about gardening.
You know,my problem is that I really want a bushy flower but our window is french window type,so it would not be able to close and open. Please what do I do?😣🤔
Yes I take all the soil out and start from fresh. I have plants that I am growing in my greenhouse that I will end up planting in the windowboxes. Plus this year Jason is going to build some new one so we will have to start over anyways
Thank you for watching! They all get watered the same and at the same time. When I first plant them, I water them all the way through. I also use a water soluble fertilizer right off the bat. A bloom booster. I use Jack’s. The next time I water it, is when it is really dry. I show videos on that throughout the season in past videos from last year too. I will continue showing lessons on fertilizing and watering and all of that good stuff!
3pumpkins hi there, happy you found us! Thank you so much I love doing the giant windowboxes! Are use Jolly gardener for my potting soil, the kind that I use I have not been able to find anywhere other than at my parents local greenhouse, I would suggest checking local garden centers for it. Jolly Gardner does sell some online but it has other things added to it, Like time release fertilizer. I like to do my own fertilizing on my schedule. They also have one that helps keep the soil wet, again I like to water on my own on my schedule, I like for things to be able to dry out and not retain moisture
The Lawrence Network Thank you for your response! I'm in North Florida. I will probably have a hard time finding the potting soil, but will start looking out for it 😀
3pumpkins Maybe there would be something similar, the thing we like about the Jolly gardener mix is that it is very light and airy with lots of vermiculite mixed in, it just keeps the soil light and airy and it dries out very quickly which we like for potting soil
yes we share updates through our videos here on our TH-cam channel. We also share updates of it on our Instagram page and pictures. @caseylynnlawrence You won’t believe how huge it got!
The front face and two sides are cedar, the bottom piece is a composite wood and the back piece that abuts to the house is a composite wood. They will need to be replaced this year we’re going to try something different, thinking instead of the composite were using Cedar all the way around, The Composite wood swells overtime with exposure to water so I think if it’s cedar all the way through it will last longer
I was going to ask the same question, thx you for sharing Casey. What if you put a water resistant coating on the inside of the cedar also ? Would that help ? 👍
Beautiful but really. Cannot find most of the flowers you reference. I even went to Proven Winners catalog. Also end result is one thing. But not sure if you have a video of the actual planting. the type of boxes being used etc... not enough information. Not sure I trust the truth of the image.

Hi, I just found your channel today and I LOVE your window boxes. Question, how do they look from the inside of your house looking out?
Hi Casey, just came across your video. I live your window box, I’m just wondering what is the length of your boxes?
👌👌
Window box is made up which material?
Do you add drainage? What method do you use?

How do I find the studs to attach my new garden window boxes under my bay windows??
Beautiful
Thank you!!
So pretty.
So...to put new potting soil every season...you must empty out and bin last years plants?? Is that right ? You need to empty and reseed every year ?
Yes I take all the soil out and start from fresh. I have plants that I am growing in my greenhouse that I will end up planting in the windowboxes. Plus this year Jason is going to build some new one so we will have to start over anyways
Is there any link to buy window box?
What is the potting mix, you r using in this, it looks very light and fluffy, I think there is no garden soil in it.
Prashant Lohia it is the Jolly gardener brand. I love it! It’s a potting soil
