I just watched the movie and it's too good. Sophie and Agatha are my favorite characters and to be honest Sophie was cool as a villain but it was short lived and she KILLED. I wonder if there will be a sequel to the movie or not, since we find out at the end of the movie that it was all just the beginning.

In the book she is much more of a selfish girl than she seems like a good girl in the movie 😅 I was shock at the difference when I start reading it after the movie.
If you listen to Sophie in her conversation with Agatha about leaving town at the beginning of the movie though she seems nice until you really take in that her motives are all self centered.
I thought, that this is the really nice twist here. If you just listen a bit, she sounds like your everyday "disney princess" - someone deserving to be on the good side and getting her prince. But when you listen a bit more careful, watching a bit more careful, all you hear are "I, myself and me". And that's what I love so much about the movie. The breakdown that just because you sound like a nice person, it doesn't mean you're a nice person.
I thought that it was well done too. I didn’t catch how everything she said was self serving the first time I saw it because I was viewing her as the sweet girl they wanted us to see. It’s later that I realized she didn’t change as much as I thought. Good writing
