  • Today, in France, precariousness affects more and more people and living conditions are deteriorating for many. Accommodation, work, food, these concerns have become so many sources of concern for many French people. The phenomenon is not new, but it is growing from year to year. Thus, one in eight people currently lives below the poverty line, with 810 euros per month. Three categories are particularly affected by precariousness: single-parent families, retirees and young people aged 18 to 24. They live on pensions, pensions, family benefits or poverty wages received for a few hours of work per week. They are the first victims of rising prices (housing, food, petrol, etc.), fragile victims who find it increasingly difficult to cope with daily life, victims who feel excluded, forgotten, and many of whom fall into depression. Among those who are hit hard by an increasingly harsh life, there are in particular single women with children.
