Went to a Wolf Pack game last month down in Hartford. I sat right behind the Wolf Pack bench and got a few fist bumps from some of the players including Remps!
The sad thing is. He is not good (in an nhl sense). He needs more development in heartford Ngl he was brought in to fight, rile up crowds and get the locker room pumped. But gotta love the rempire state building no matter what.
Happy Thursday now Krystal Thanks for showing us around during your busy work schedule in the middle of the week. I'm glad you saw your future Rangers win 6-1 That's so cool having $2 hot dogs 🌭 and $2 beer 🍺 night. I when to the Hartford Civic Center once and saw the Devils against Whalers there. I I remember the Islanders switch to that same fisherman logo 2:45 from 1995 - 1997 on their uniforms. Have a wonderful Thursday 😎👍
Was sitting in that same row as you w/ my buddies! The games in Hartford are way more energetic than here but super cool to see you come out to a game in Bridgeport! Wolfpack games are always a blast
I’m a season ticket holder, Sonar the wolf is our mascot, and he’s got wheels man he can skate, we have some good players I’d love to see get a shot, not sure how old this is if your saying Cuyled is still does, but Mancini came up. But Bo Grouix #24 plays center and is awesome, also #42 Jarislov Russian last name is a beast, Wednesdays aren’t a big draw
It’s sad that Bridgeport who can’t draw fans still has an AHL team and a hockey town like Binghamton is without the AHL and still pulls 4000 a night in the lowly FPHL.
Rempe is a beast he fked us up i came and watched when prov was in hartford. Why the hell is he not up with the big squad he seemed to play ok last year and hes a giant.
The original name for that arena before corporate naming rights renamed it was called The Arena at Harbor Yard. I was only there once for a college basketball game to see Hofstra on the road against Fairfield. It was horrible back then with an extremely crappy PA system you couldn't hear. Circa early 2010's. That soda machine at the McDonald's in that rest area kind of reminds me of the now demolished Burger King on Northern Blvd. in Bayside. I used to look on in awe of how drive-thru was done at that location. They used to send the food from the kitchen on a conveyor belt suspended above the dining room that goes straight to the drive-thru kiosk where the cashier then hands the food over to the customer in their car. It was literally my favorite location for BK. Now it's a split BK/Popeyes location.
You should really go to a hartford game! It is definitely worth the drive I have partial season tickets and there is a much better turnout and it’s a really fun atmosphere!
This looks awesome!!!!!! Ice-Hockey is my 2nd favorite Sport!!!!!! I've been to Capitals and Lightning Games in the NHL. Haven't been to an AHL Game yet. But would love to go to one one day.
I’ve been to a few AHL games in the past and it’s more of a weekend league. They try to avoid games during the week mainly because of small turn outs. Crowds get better on the weekends when you see more families at the games.
I’ve watched only a handful of AHL games over the years as so few of them have been, with respect to Canadian TV networks, broadcast on Sportsnet, TSN, CTV, CBC, City-TV or Global. Of all hockey and basketball games I have ever attended, most have been of the Leafs (initially at what was once Maple Leaf Gardens, then the former Air Canada Centre [since renamed Scotiabank Arena]) although in 2019 I attended a Raptors game. This AHL-NBA-NBA G-League-NHL-Professional Women’s Hockey League season has meant AHL games broadcast on FloHockey and G-League and PWHL games on TH-cam. For much of the relevant regular season it is hard enough keeping up, as a follower of Canada’s NBA, NBA G-League, NHL and PWHL teams, with all the games as it is, so, adding a TV subscription to watch maybe a handful of AHL games that feature Canadian teams or their affiliates is something that I don’t see myself doing anytime soon although maybe during the postseason, depending on how many Canadian AHL teams or the Bakersfield Condors (the last an affiliate of the Oilers), I will watch some AHL games. Last AHL season the bottom-three teams in the Pacific Division and bottom-two teams in the remaining divisions didn’t see playoff action. Going by AHL division the Atlantic one doesn’t have a Canadian team although among the remaining ones the: - North Division’s three Canadian teams (Rocket, Marlies, and Sens), all are in playoff spots - Central Division the Manitoba Moose are three points out of a playoff spot - Pacific Division the Condors are three points out of a playoff spot, with the Wranglers and Canucks in playoff spots Last AHL season, all affiliates of Canadian NHL teams, except the Rocket, saw playoff action. Yet until much closer to the 2025 Calder Cup playoffs, I probably won’t have much of an idea of how many such games I will get to watch if any as much as I hope to do so considering that aside from the Jets and Leafs, the postseason hopes of Canadian NHL teams are at best precarious.
Krystal, new subscriber here. Thank you for taking me with you to see an AHL game. Although, the turnout wasn't good at least they won. I know how much you love Madison Square Garden, but if you really want to experience a hockey game go up to Montreal. It's really not far from New York and I'm sure you will not regret it. I'm from Boston, but have been up to Montreal to catch a game about 10 times over the years. Believe me it's worth the trip. Also, everybody speaks English so don't worry about that. Just need a passport. It's a great city with many good restaurants and nightlife.
1:30 The Wolf Packs mascot is Sonar. You have to check out the XL Center (formerly the Hartford Civic Center), they still have some Hartford Whalers banners hanging along with the Wolf Pack banners. Also, the current HWP jerseys are based off of the jerseys from the 2014 Stadium Series at Yankee Stadium.
Just stumbled onto your video here. Very Awesome. And you definitely know your Rangers hockey too! Did they have any programs at the game there? Next time you go to either a Rangers game or other AHL or junior hockey, can you get me a program? I collect them, and I'll gladly reimburse you of course. Thanks + keep up the good work. PS: Your Rangers beat us Sabres here tonight which I'm sure made you happy. Peace!
As a Pack Fan sine the first game in 1997 I can tell you Hartford is a much better fan experience than Bridgeport. It is sad things are so bad down there. A strong Islanders team is good for all the AHL teams in the division. The attendance is much much higher in Hartford and the food is def better. You should try a Sat game or even a Sunday matinee game.
@@perronechris98 I think you are right. Lou Lamouriello has this belief that all minor affiliates should be named after the NHL franchise. He separated the fans from their team identity when he removed the "Sound Tigers" name from the franchise. The Hartford Wolf Pack has been much more successful for 27 years without being the Hartford Rangers (and the CT fans wouldn't have embraced that team if they had done that anyway).
@@toddgelineau6536 truthfully bridgeport islanders makes no sense to me. For starters bridgeport is not on a island . But they are on the long Island sound. Bridgeport sound tigers fit more.

Krystal, it was great to meet you last night. Love the channel. Are you and Joey going tomorrow w Pittsburgh or Sunday v. Seattle? My son and I are going Sunday. Rangers seem to have a fragile psyche. Once Drury sent the message to other GMs about open to trades they caved in. They do need more scrappers and battlers. I would bring up Rempe and play him about 7-8 mins a night and try and energize the team. Stick with Berard when he is healthy and bring Mancini back if they can dump Trouba. You didn't stay for the Rempe goal?
This might be a good time to bring back Ryan McDonough. He can still play defense and will lift morale on the team. He is also a proven champion and his pedigree is top notch. WE have space now on the cap and room for a d-man. Also, he would help any of the young defensemen on the Rangers...
Funny thing is I played on a hockey team called the Hoffman Estates Wolf Pack we were really good but my career came to an end permanently when I broke a tumor bone in my leg so for my last game of my career we got to play a game at the Allstate Arena before a Wolves game I was only 14 and my career ended that quick
The Wolfpack do have a mascot his name is Sonar. The Wolfpack are named after the submarine manufacturer hence Sonar. The Wolfpack games get great crowds when they play the Springfield Thunderbirds my favorite AHL team and there is a fan section for Springfield (St.Louis Blues) in section 113 so if you’re a pack or ranger fan don’t sit there. You could have probably moved to closer seats and no one would care. I did move to the front nearby the glass during a UConn game and no one cared because the arena was empty.
I can confirm the wolfpack have a mascot. This was the first road win in 8 tries so you picked the right game to go to. As far as rempe goes i think little by little at this level he has been finding his game. But the back and forth right now is not good for him. Rempe needs to stay in Hartford for a while.

Rempe is just not an NHL player and is too irresponsible physically. All he does is put a target on everyone's back. Whatever injection of life he gives the Big Club is short lived as they just do not have the personnel to sustain that style of play. You can't manufacture someone's will to be a player they've never been before
He will be what Reaves is. Solid enforcer type of player. He will have solid career in NHL. He doesn't need to worry about scoring points or being best guy defensevily. What he brings to be table is morale boost through big hits and fights. Intimidation factor and protection of stars and younger players. Plus exciting hockey.

get Rempe back up....yeah Miller sucks....Go Devils
Hershey bears> Wolfpack
Sry not sry, I mean bears r just better, they’re built different, I don’t even know if the Wolfpack r that good, also coco (bears mascot) is so adorable
But if u go there on a week day against the bears it’ll probaly be crowded since they’re good, and a lot of ppl r bandwagons for good teams, mostly in different states or by different teams, or maybe not bc that arena looks tiny
Rempe is just not an NHL player and is too irresponsible physically. All he does is put a target on everyone's back. Whatever injection of life he gives the Big Club is short lived as they just do not have the personnel to sustain that style of play. You can't manufacture someone's will to be a player they've never been before
You are a psychopath if you want Rempe back he is not a good person. He just does dirty hits and fights and you want him back disgraceful.
Rempe will be a failure.
