This fight had taken place in March of 2017 in Turning Stone Resort Casino, Verona, New York, U.S.. This explains the terribly biased comments of the U.S. commentators who saw nothing but 'good shots' of the American Curtis Stevens, even tough it was obvisous from the first round that the Canadian boxer David Lemieux was dominating the fight until the KO of Curtis in round 3.
Is there a boxer alive who has not knocked Stevens unconscious?

4 yrs later after losing to GGG, Curtis bashed KO artist David Lemieux. GGG KO’d Both these men. But Lemieux KO Stephens through the ropes!
So funny how these commentators was all about Stevens and his power and boxing being to much for Lemieux. It was as Lemieux was fat and out of shape, and not having the tools to win this fight, the way they promoted Stevens. It may be Lemieux being Canadian, that had these commentators being all about Stevens ? Well, After having seen a few Lemieux fights, and Stevens fights, I was waiting for Lemieux to wind up his machine, letting his hooks fly. Because Stevens needed a chin like GGG to take that, and he didn't. Lemieux has lost to some badass fighters like GGG before and Benavidez after this fight. But those two are on a level higher than Stevens.
