- In this video we test out the Timberwolf Disc Cleaner. We were fortunate to meet Roy Reaves at the wood and equipment show in Virginia. He had a lot of great Timberwolf and Halverson products. We were thrilled when he offered to loan us a disc cleaner, plus the Halverson 125 HD-CS grapple saw. Thank you Roy

I can see that being a good rig to have at delivery time . Just dump ya dry wood into it and it will separate all the bark a sawdust off so your delivering clean wood .

You almost need a section of conveyor to dump on before the cleaner to use all the length of the cleaner. Nice job! Thanks Reaves Timber!
Hello John, The first time we ever ran one, probably will slow the motor to idle, and see how it works, its designed to have a conveyor feed it, considering what it did, its the real deal, cleaned 95% of the slash🪵👍🏼
It’s always fun to learn how to use new equipment. To think once you get it dialed in you will love that disc cleaner.

I dont know why, But I've never thought to use a circular saw to cut the IBCs...I've always used a sawsall...Might have to try that on my next go around

That cleaner is sweet! I envision a conveyor feeding the disc cleaner and you splitting directly into the conveyor with the Halverson. That would be a nice setup.

I think the disc cleaner will be a big improvement. I also think you may want to run it twice because the one side of the bucket doesn't get to pass over many discs before it's off the cleaner with the skid loader bucket. I don't doubt it can handle the amount of wood you put on it but where it's being put on is only hitting some of the process. I'm sure it's a huge difference regardless because when I hand load from a stack the amount of bark and debris is pretty high so being able to get a machine that can mimic that process can only improve the quality. Again, I think you would let it do a better job if the wood passed every disc. A conveyor or a hopper on the one side or just run it through twice. If you try running it twice and nothing comes off... I'm the idiot trying to improve your toys I don't have.
Hello Andy, This was an extreme example of, only because we had so much slash, normally its 95% less in the totes, I definitely could idle the motor down, you probably know more about it than us. It handled the slash no problem, definitely a beast🪵👍🏼
