Hi, just give you a suggestion. It is better to repeat the Cantonese sentence twice instead of the English sentence. by the way, thanks for teaching.
Thanks for the tip! We'll keep that in mind!

Is there much difference between Hong Kong Cantonese and Guangzhou Cantonese? If I was to learn one, would the other under stand me?
There is not much difference between them. Guangzhou Cantonese is more influenced by Mandarin while Hong Kong Cantonese is more influenced by English. Actually you don't have to choose either one because their difference is not that big as compared to British English and American English. Of course I believe most Cantonese learners would learn from Hong Kong Cantonese because people in Hong Kong still try their best to preserve Cantonese while the younger generation in Guangzhou are not likely to speak Cantonese well as the Chinese government doesn't allow them to speak Cantonese at school. Also the culture in Hong Kong is more diverse and international so you can find a lot of movies, dramas, songs, or other entertainment stuff for you to learn with fun.
@@mrtsiqsin2290 Ohhh i see! I have been learning Hong Kong Cantonese , and some of the phrases my friend doesnt understand but if i was to say another version of the same one she would understand. I'll most likely just keep learning Hong Kong Canto. Thank you for the reply! It clears my mind about me learning the wrong things :)
Yes, just like MrTsiqsin said! And it's a good practice for you to try to explain by saying another version, that's a great way to learn and review what you know as well!
Have fun learning Cantonese, and feel free to ask if you have any other questions :)

I like these classes, but the cantonese is too fast and too much english vs just repeating the cantonense slower
Thank you for your comment. There is a "Playback Speed" option if you click on the setting (gear icon), there you can adjust the video speed. Hope that's helpful! :)
