It's quite ironic that the youngest Doctor died of old age
@@dylanziesing6122 He is much older than this, but he only remembers 2000 years of his life, because he has existed since the beginning of the existence of the Time Lords, or rather, he is the one who created them.
@@mariaal-tidafe6201 On Trenzalore, the Doctor rejuvenated back to young before he regenerated into 12, the reason he didn’t immediately regenerate into 12 and instead went young before changing, was because that was the Doctor’s 13th regeneration, and thus broke Timelord physiology.
If he had regenerated countless times before, he would not have done that.
They enter the Doctor’s timeline multiple times, the only time the “Timeless Child” has existed, is in Chibnall’s reign of terror.
You believe Chibnall all you want, I’ll continue to respect the previous dozen seasons of New Who that make it undeniable that he is not a Timelord.

The doctor dies, but the actor doesnt. Then the actor dies, but the show doesn't. Then show dies, but the fandom doesn't.
Then the show comes back to life, and brings back Ian at 80 years old, just to show how young AND old the show is simultaneously. Life is short, and yet that is why they say "So long" when they pass.
Bro, William Russel, who plays Ian Chesterton, was 98 when he appeared in Power of the Doctor
@@saoranachnah-alba723And you realize that from the Doctor's perspective linearly, he should be long gone.
Dying by old age is one hell of a flex in the world of Doctor Who
I mean, 12 claims to be over 2000 years old, and depending on if you count the fact that he says remembers all the lives he lived in the prison dial, then even just by the end of Clara and 12, the doctor is over 4.5 billion.
@@grummdoesstuff2983By absolutely no definition is the Doctor 4.5 billion years old. The confession dial was basically a simulation that reset constantly. The 12th Doctor was only 2000-something upon death, something that's been confirmed many times since with the 13th Doctor saying they were around 2000 as well.
6th doctor banged his head 💀

was the war doctor old age, I always interpreted it as him willingly regenerating as to leave that part of his life behind.
I don't remember the exact line, but I believe he said along the lines of "of course this makes sense" when he was regenerating as if he said "my time has come". I mean, he was very old and weary at that point so it's only logical for him to "die" from being old & exhausted
@@zeke8921Yes so he really did regenerate from his body's old age.
The seventh doctor didn't die because of the gunshot he died because Grace burst an artery
Exactly! He died by medical malpractice. Not only was the surgery done without consent of the patient (and without any real evidence to suggest immediate risk to the patient's health), it was also done in spite of evidence that such a procedure would pose a significant health risk! They make jokes about it in the DVD commentary. Grace killed the Doctor, and she's not the only one at fault. The Doctor has really good grounds to sue that entire hospital!
Well, except for the fact that he technically has no rights, as he is not human or animal, nor a citizen of any country or territory, and so therefore any action against him is technically perfectly legal.
So he would've been completely fine with several bullet holes, right
@@themightybob listen to the dialogue in the surgery. There were only a few bullets in him, and all pretty much in his shoulder. They removed them, and then did a second exploratory surgery to figure out why his heart was beating twice as fast as normal. THAT surgery killed him, and the anaesthetic nearly destroyed the regeneration.
The 10th died twice 1st by a dalek shooting him than by radiation poisoning
Ironic. The only Doctor to die twice and still managed to return.
The line ‘I don’t wanna go’ has so much more impact when you realise this was (technically) his 10th regeneration and he truly thought he was going to die.
Technically, the Doctor in EoT was his 12th regeneration since he vented the rest of his 11th regeneration (count includes the Warrior’s incarnation) into the Hand that became the metacrisis…
hence 11 (MS) was actually 13 and thought that he was facing his final death…
Yeah, the 12 regenerations go
1. 1st to 2nd
2. 2nd to 3rd
3. 3rd to 4th
4. 4th to 5th
5. 5th to 6th
6. 6th to 7th
7. 7th to 8th
8. 8th to War
9. War to 9th
10. 9th to 10th
11. 10th to 10th + Meta Crisis
12. 10th to 11th
It’s weird how each regeneration has a different life span, the 1st doctor died of old age however lived for 450 years, the war doctor died of old age and lived for 800 years and then the 11th doctor died of old age but lived for 1100ish years. Seems like the older he gets the longer his new bodys can last naturally
Time lords are fundamentally immortal they simply age on their first and last incarnations the only reason the war doctor aged was because he was on gallifrey and the time lords did age and regeneration on gallifrey that way they couldn’t abuse their power
@@michaelkean5969 that’s just not true, send me a scan of wherever uv read that, I mean thats so easy to debunk as false also, the 2nd doctor literally noticeably aged (canon)
And the 1st doctor we now know isnt even the 1st doctor
Then on top of that there are other timelords that have aged
@@iamgod8668If he had kept any of those faces in his regeneration cycle. He too would have aged like the Eleventh Doctor did. It's obvious.
@@PulsarSquad it’s obvious is it? Why didn’t the 8th doctor age like that then? He lived for around 700 years and barley aged
Uh, Paul Mcgann had 17 years between the TV Movie and his regeneration, He is very clearly a lot older when he regenerates. Also, there's some debate over how Canon the expanded universe is if at all.
So old age and exhaustion and radiation poisoning are more common than you'd think in a Time Lord's death certificates?!
Hold on. Do doctors have regeneration certificates and every time you regen, you have to replace all your documents and get possibility to have a new name. Maybe that's why the Doctor don't have a name, he can't register and he keeps changing bodies so he never find the time to have a good name that suit him other than his title.
6th Doctor " fired by the show runners "
One thing most failed to realise is the doctor actually died in that ship and was resurrected by the sisterhood of Khan, he literally died with no hope of regeneration, the war doctor was born from death, and brought death, became it, and then died both physically and in his soul, leaving the 9th doctor with extreme PTSD
I always thought the 6th Doctor died from the carrot juice ☹️
There are two different accounts on said he hit his head another is that he got poisoned
6th doctor died cause of radiation from the laser you can check on the 6th doctor last adventure
The Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) did not die because of the gunshot wounds. It was the anaesthetic that Grace gave him that did it.
I thought it was due to complications because Grace didn’t realise he has a binary vascular system, whereas the anaesthetic delayed regeneration and caused short-term retrograde amnesia.
Yeap it was due to the complications of the surgery, not just the anesthetic. He was heavily injured from the gunshots, but came back to consciousness during the surgery. He realized the operation they were doing was for humans, and tried to tell them it would kill him but they just sedated him and the operation failed.
None of the doctors die. It was even clearly stated by the 9th doctor that its a way to cheat death. Meaning they dont die but their personality changes and so does their look
So he would've been completely fine with several bullet holes, right
There's a Big Finish audio that has the sixth Doctor dying from Radiation Poisoning.
Also the seventh doctor regenerated because of surgery, which is ironic since he was played by Sylvester McCoy
You'd think the fourth dr would have a better grip on his situation during that episode
Dumb was to die….fall of a radio tower, hit your head on your console, annoy the time lords, crash you ship into a planet 🎶
14th Doctor: Killed by Toymaker using UNIT’s satellite destroying laser cannon (technically still alive, but yes.)
kinda ironic that the cybermen actually got the doctor one one of their regenerations when the daleks have been trying to get them for centuries
I mean the Daleks got Tennant to regenerate but he somehow kept his face
'sentient ball' 😭 Well, I guess. The Master as well, but a little bit of the 'sentient ball' XD
This just sent me on a nostalgia highway and a roller coster of emotions
Bro really needs to be more careful with radiation
The sixth doctor forced his regeneration with the telepathic circuits to defeat The Valeyard
The 10th Doctor died twice, first time being shot by a Dalek, but he managed to use a one-time-only circumstance to fix the damage without regenerating and stored the extra energy in his severed hand (which became another 10th Doctor)
Mistakes: there have been multiple explanations to six’s regeneration, seven was taken out by the hospital equipment..
So basically, the 2nd doctor was executed.
It’s ironic because he was almost executed earlier in the War Games
Actually the 7th doctor ‘died’ because he was accidentally stabbed in his second heart with a camera probe
I can't believe that out of all of those wild deaths, the 4th Doctor purely just splats into the fuckin dirt like a sack of potatoes
The sentient ball gave us back the best new who writer and our favorite doctor, can't complain
Never confuse "Your" with "Our" - unless you genuinely believe you speak for everyone.
I see many people groaning over the return of Not-10, and while I have nothing against 10 or Tennant - they're great - but he has never been my Doctor, nor was Donna ever my companion. The saving grace is that they're simply coming back for a few specials before the show moves on.
@RopeDrink He can legitimately say "our" because Tennant has topped polls for nearly two decades as being the most popular Doctor ever. Maybe he isn't yours, but he is the fandom's.
@alim.9801 He did. As did Matt Smith. However, many of the voters in said poll are gormless dribblers who just vote with the current wave. One poll even put Whittaker second, a person whose tenure presided over an utter nadir in the current iteration in terms of revenue and viewing figures.
10th doctor was my fav
I'm sorry but all these Doctors dying from poison or old age makes Tom Baker falling from a giant structure to his death feel strangely metal.
14th Doctor
Shot in the heart with a Galvanic Beam.
Technically 7 didn’t die from the gunshot, but from the scoping of his heart to figure out why it was beating irregularly when it was actually two hearts and because of that the surgeons accidentally killed him
Gotta love how most died because they got old or some sci fi thing and then 7 was done in with a drive by
And 8 was in a CRASHING SPACE SHIP. And died died before being brought back by the people who's named I can never remember.

6 bonking his head is the goofiest shit lmao
The 8th Doctor is one of my favorites. But we don’t see much of him. That’s probably why I like him so much because I want to see more of him.
Imagine having the memories of your past deaths.
I honestly don't remember that scene where 12 is electrocuted. I thought he got shot by the laser of one of the mondasian cybermen, and then bill carried him back to the TARDIS and died-ish. Although I see how him getting electrocuted could fit into the story
Edit: just watched it back. Earlier in the episode when both masters are there after they reveal bill is a cyberman now, he does get hugged by the cyberman and electrocuted, but bill lasers the cyberman and he is saved. He actually starts regenerating when he gets lasered (twice) at the end of the episode and blows everything up.
I should probably also mention that with a laser beam that size, there is absolutely no way that he/she can survive or regenerate from something like that. He himself admitted that he couldnt survive a volcano or severe electrocution. That laser beam is like a combination of both.
OH MY GOD THEY KILLED THE DOCTOR!!!

We gone from peacefully dying TO EXPLODING THE WHOLE TARDIS
Don't forget the time 10th put his regeneration into his hand
Only three of the Doctor’s bodies died of old age. If we assume a Time Lord’s natural lifespan is dying of old age thirteen times, then this would make the Doctor quite young by Time Lord standards (not counting the Timeless Child because fuck that).
14: shot with galvanic beam
The 7th doctor getting shot by a gang is probably the most badass “death” for the doctor
the 11th Doctor was him fr to fight the villains he did and to die of old age is actually insane

I don't know whats more impressive. The fact that 3 incarnations made it to old age or the fact that the 12th doctor had 2 episode's left after his cause of death
It's not really the shooting who killed the 7th Doctor it's the operation they said in the movie that theses shots weren't lethal
That proves the 11th doctor is one of the most powerful and could not be defeated or killed by anything else meaning he is the best doctor showing how many he has defeated especially the weeping angels the worst entities to face ever.
the Tenth couldn't either, but he sacrificed himself for a friend.
I'm not sure if it's been canonized but in big finish, they ended up giving context to 6 last moments and he also dies from radiation. It's a great audio listen.
