I love this design! Could you please let me know about how much thread do I use and does it matter what size needle on this bracelet? I haven’t beaded in 20 years and things and products have changed! Your site with videos is the best I’ve seen. Thanks!

Hi, Lynn. Old beader here. A size 10 or 11 needle will work fine with the recommended beads. As to thread, you will need to add more thread during beading as the amount needed varies with length of the bracelet, your tension and number of times you reinforce wear points. I start with about five feet max. More than that tends to increase tangling probability. Blessed beading!

We will usually start with 5 ft however if that is too much to work with you can always add more in

How do you know, how long thread your using?

    • @Potomacbeadco

Hello there! It is always a good idea to start a project using a comfortable length of thread, no longer than 5 feet is our preference. Here is a helpful video on how much thread to use

Nice bracelet! And I want to commend you on doing sooooo much better with your voice on these videos. You are using that unpleasant gravelly register very rarely now. It seems to me to be a confidence thing, but whatever it is, kudos! I enjoyed listening as much as I enjoyed the tutorial.
