      Thanks for watching and your comment! Enjoy your new canopy! 2 tips for setting it up yourself:
      1) you can stake the one corner leg in place and with a slight lifting of the opposite corner leg, you can expand it yourself
      2) you can velcro the top cover to it's respective corners before expanding the frame

    I appreciate your showing the locking mechanism because I am having a devil of a time getting them to go above the pin. You did with out the top on 1st so I will remove the top and then try. Thank you.

      You should be able to leave the top on while you set it up.with the canopy mostly outstretched, It may help to push upward on the corner while holding that leg

      Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment! You may also like this tip: buy some ball bungee (I found a box of 50 white ones online for a reasonable price). Buy some Harbor Freight 9' x 7'6" tarps. Use the ball bungees to attach the grommets of the tarp to the top scissor frame (if it is a slant leg canopy, attach the 7'6" side of the tarp; for a straight leg, attach the 9' side of the tarp). Then you can weight down the tarp or possibly attach the sides to the legs. Voilá, you now have a shield from sun, wind, etc. Easy up, easy down. Good luck with your tinting business! I hope that you find continued success!

      Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment! In case you missed the other comments, for easy 1 person set up, stake the one leg and lift up and pull the opposite corner leg. I also saw in another video that you can attach the canopy velcro on the 4 corners before stretching out the frame although I haven't tried it yet, myself.

    • @Yyyyyy5
      @Yyyyyy5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The taller you make it go the more susceptible it is to wind. I only go up 2 holes and stake it down. That way it can easily with stand a strong 40 mph wind.

    What’s the difference between the straight leg vs this? Slant leg is $30 cheaper, does it function the same?

    • @kevinbrown9032
      @kevinbrown9032  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I believe the base footprint of both slant and straight leg is 10ft by 10ft. The slant leg gives 8ft x 8ft coverage so I would guess you get the full 10x10 coverage with the straight leg.

      Thanks for watching and your comment! Absolutely! About 2 months ago I took it camping. I set it up over the picnic table (top is 8' x 8') and i even used ball bungees to attach the 7ft side of a 7ft something by 9ft 6 tarp and used PVC pipe and a tree to secure the other end and had another 9ft of shelter. It was great! If you stake the one leg down (the feet have a hole to stake it down), one person can unfold it with one hand.

    how do you take it down??? setting it up is easy

    • @kevinbrown9032
      @kevinbrown9032  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! Taking it down can be tricky. I figured out that when you "pop" the button to release each corner you need to pull down on the "knuckle" of the top support to release it and make sure all 4 joints are collapsed inward as you start to take it down. I will be setting mine up again soon. I will try to make another video for taking it down.

    I forgot I will buy a silver reflective tarp bigger than 10x10 for overhang on all sides and lay it over the supplied cover and secure down
    NOTE:if others think to do this DO NOT BUY the tarps from walley world or any other place that sells tarps if when you look at the material It looks like shredded wheat (the cereal back when I was a kid) it will deteriorate and become stringy like shredded paper….I have a good tarp bought 8 yrs ago and still intact no issues I use it for yard work,good reminder is you see truckers with tarps covering loads on flat beds even though size of tarp is way bigger than I need it would be same type material…do your research folks
