This video was taken at small Lake nearby my house, there is a lot of xiphophorus helleri inside the lake. I didnt take any of them,i just let them live in their natural habitat.
Lovely video!!!! Actually reminds me of a ground water tank we had when I was a kid, we had some red sword tails and ordinary guppies Strangely after some years we noticed some green sword tails in that tank Makes me wonder if they are a mix of guppies and redsword tales. Good luck!!!!
Swordtails are great fish but have become invasive in many countries. So, if this is in Indonesia, this is not their "natural habitat". Sad to see the trash in the water, too. We've got about 75 years left.
Cool, we have those in the rivers and streams out here on Guam. we have sailfin mollies and fancy guppies too.
very good movie about swordtail fish, well done
Reversion to" wild type -green" seems to be happening.
Most likely dumped from a farm. Domestic stock as opposed to wild most likely, based on the orange male that made an appearance. Beautiful fish!
Very nice fish
Thanks for sharing

your welcome jim.
No need for heaters here, great little lake!

Such a pity that swordtails, especially wild-type green swordtails, are so scare in aquarium stores nowadays
I'd love to have some. Sadly, swordtails aren't common in ept stores here in Singapore
bro they're so common and cheap, you can get a koi breeded swordtail at yishun polyart for a ddollar
So beautifully
Beautiful fish, thanks for the video! Seems like the swordtail strain might have some X. Clemencia influence?
