These aren’t advanced tips. These are basics that I’ve seen 20 more other youtubers discuss. Advanced is how to decide on grid to use and how to effeciently use them
Thank you for sharing your perspective! I appreciate your feedback. While some of these tips may be foundational, they're crucial for establishing a strong design base. I hear you on wanting more advanced content, and I'll certainly consider your suggestion for a future video focusing specifically on deciding on grids and efficient usage. Your input helps shape the content, and I aim to provide valuable insights.
@@Typefool Thanks. The title is just confusing. I was hoping to see how these things can be applied in a more advanced sense.
Loved the comment bro, coz I believe the same. Hope @typefool come out with some actually advanced suggestions
Keeping making these videos brother! Absolutely love them!

Very informative and extremely helpful. I use grids extensively throughout my designs but didn't really know exactly why. Your tips provided a lot of clarity! Thanks for sharing your process!

Solid walkthrough of some foundational principles of design. I went to school for design and have been a professional designer for nearly 13 years. My mom’s just starting to explore it, and this will definitely be helpful to expose her to some of the harder to explain aspects of design that have become second nature over the years. Thanks!!
Thank you! Happy to hear you liked these tips! Yeah it gets harder when it becomes second nature right! Hopefully the video will be helpful for your mom 🙏🏻 thanks for hanging around!
Please make more videos like this, super useful 🎉

@@Typefool really its so good, thanks a lot🙏
You are more then welcome! 🙏🏻
The only time I use grids is when building magazine layouts. Otherwise, they get in the way of creativity if you always stick to grids.
Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's interesting how design preferences can differ. I completely get where you're coming from - grids might not be the perfect fit for every design style. I believe in the creative flexibility. While grids are fantastic for maintaining structure, especially in magazine layouts, I agree that some design styles call for a more organic approach.
Thankyou!
You are welcome Shayan! Thanks for sticking around!

@@Typefool All I say is " THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL PRINCIPLES AND INFORMATION" Kudos to you Man!! Coz I watch this video again n again whenever I don"t file inspired. Also Can you suggest what could be the best way to determine what amount of column, rows and gutter for a grid would be fine for a specific layout ?Like 1:1. 4:3. 9:16 etc
@@YourBencho Thank you! That really means a lot to me to read a nice comment like this. Well I have a video planned to dive deeper into grids, and how to use them. I will try to fit this into the concept of this video! Thank you for watching! 🙏
What is the font you use on the list in this video?❤
The font I used is Roobert. Got to love this typeface, I use it for my own visual brand identity 😄
Could you pls provide th elink to your pinterest board?
Here is the link to the pinterest board which I showcase in the video 🔗 pin.it/3U1VsgfIs
Is that Roobert you are using?
Yes that's correct! I love Roobert. I use it for my own brand idenity :)
@@Typefool I just used it for a visual identity job. Displaay type foundry are on point 🌟
Lovely! Yes you are right Displaay typefaces are great! I recently came across a free Sans serif typeface which reminded me of Roobert which is: Uncut Sans maybe you might like that aswel I really liked it @@TheRockTiger
Nice video! Imo if you were speaking from your own mind rather than reading that Chat GPT script, the video would feel a lot more honest, natural and faster :) Don't stop creating!
I see what you mean Julius. I learn as I go. I can't speak well off the top because then I totally wander. So I try to give chat pgt already a good prompt and input so I also tell all the valuable information I want to share. That's also how I try to get an interesting text, since I'm not a copywriter haha ;). But this is definitely something I am trying to do more and more out of the top, is of course much more natural too! Thanks for sticking around!
Agree with Julius, should put more thought into the script. Thing is you don't have to speak off the top but at least modify the script according to your personality. But props for being honest about it. It was bugging me a lot but even with the lack of naturalness I liked the reminder for the tips (even though I know them) and your designs are also cool. Keep it up! @@Typefool
@@RollyaxHey there! Thanks for sharing this! I hear you on the script and put in more of my personality into the content. great stuff! It's definitely something im going to put more time in next videos. But next 2 videos are already filmed :P. Appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective!
Good info but how is this advanced?
Thanks for the feedback! I aimed to mix foundational and advanced tips. I'll dive deeper into more complex topics in future videos such as customizing grids, dynamic layouts, and advanced typography techniques.

Thanks for showing love!! 😻🫶🏼😁
