Nearly every character has some way to put speed everyone else or make distance to run(yuji and feint, megumi and nue, Gojo and blue, mahito and body repel) so I don’t see any reason to cry about it, it’s pretty much unavoidable so might as well embrace it

Honestly his awakening should be the strong schitzophrenia where he fights with the idol girl. The awakening animation could be him droping the frame he keeps around his neck, revealing yuji and the idol girl.

Alr, so you know how every JJK game has Toji? Well I say you make Maki. I alr have moves for her: -Move 1: Disarm -Maki goes through block and hits the opponent with the same combo she did to Miwa (best girl) in the Goodwill Event Arc, which ends in Miwa getting knocked back and on the floor. -Move 2: Blade Rush -Maki rushes forwards, much like one of Hakari's ULT moves. Every time you click, Maki swings her sword and damages the opponent, even through block. This move lasts 5 seconds. -Move 3: Direct Slashes -Maki uses her pike-looking thing to create a barrage slashes, meant as a combo extender. This move doesn't knock the opponent back, or knock them down. -Move 4: Bullet Catch -This move is a counter, as Maki catches the move of the opponent much like she caught Mai's bullet. This leaves the opponent stunned for 3 seconds, leaving them open to any attacks. This counter does no damage, and is helpful when trying to start a combo. AWAKENING NAME: Slaughter AWAKENING BUBBLE MESSAGE: Kill them all, just like what Mai wanted. AWAKENING ANIMATION: A comparison between Maki and Toji, with weapon changed to Soul Split Katana Awk. Move 1 - Blitz Slash -Maki charges at her opponent for 3 seconds and if they aren't blocking or countering, she goes right through them, with a particle trail and slashing sounds. Awk. Move 4 - Confrontation -Maki gains a 10% speed & damage boost until the move's cooldown is over. R Move - Slash -Slash right in front of you. If this attack will finish off the opponent, it will cut vertically, sending the opponent into the ground.
@El_Pan_Kitty While I believe that Toji IS cooler thanks to his larger arsenal of weapons and his very impressive achievements from the manga, adding Toji would be very unoriginal and uncreative due to him being in basically every other currently popular JJK battlegrounds game, CBG contains Toji, SBG contains Toji, CA contains Toji. It's just very bland.
R variants for Todo Rock throw plus R makes you swap with the rock. (Obviously) But if you look at another Player after the rock is thrown they will swap with the rock
I think the Rock will be better as a "R" ability, and the 2 attack be just an punch, and if you use 2 with the "R" you do the black flash kick, it would be much more "JJS" like, but being a dev too, i know this is hard, but it's a suggestion :P
Todo being a supportive character all the while being able to do more than fine on its own would be the goal I think like an offensive Support so its supportive move's chaining into an attack would cool Ex:after swaping with a rock todo does an outa attack(it simply happens with out you pressing a button Ex2:rock throw counts as a combo extender for himself so this can be mix up between a hard hitting attack that you cannot ignore or a fake out that punishes you

But don’t overwork yourself, we all love how your making todo, but it’s not worth it if it’s too hard on you, I’m sure the rest of us could wait a little longer, sorry if I’m worrying for nothing though!😊
as todo's number one fan i can tell you this is absolutely beautiful bro i can already visualise myself doing some crazy ass stuff with the rock tp 😭 i don't wanna push you completely by suggesting this as i don't know how difficult it would be to both animate and code this, but i was thinking for one of the moves in base you NEED to give him a german suplex like the one he did in his fight with megumi, i don't mean one of those you see in every game that has todo where you tp or do some kind of attacks before it all i want is a raw, clean suplex where you just simply grab a target and slam them with nothing too special about it 🙏 (if you've used todo in cursed arena before the rework you'd know what i mean) can't wait for the next part 🙏

I feel like there should make a mechanism where if you are todo you can look at all the yuji users in the server and make a “besto friendo” request. If you have a besto friendo then you can unlock a move in the alt where both of you do a combo on the enemy
Suggestion1.When using ult if a player on your friends list is within range will instantly bring them to you and cause a special animation. Suggestion2.When throwing the rock Kinda like divergent fist hitting it at a certain time will cause a black flash Suggestion3. First ult move kicking the ground causing a giant rock to appear grabbing it than throwing it you can also teleport using the rock move on it causing a different animation
So this is my idea, you press r once on the enemy/rock to select them, and press r again on them will make you change places, if you press r on someone else/rock then they both change places, also it would be cool if you add some type of feint for clap, and it would be good to if rock stays for some time in the floor after you hit an enemy, wall, or when it gets into the max range so you can change places with the rock in the floor, also my last idea is when you throw a trash can/extinguisher you put ce on it so you can tp with clap too.

Move Suggestion, a counter. With Boogie Woogie a counter is a given if you ask me. Melee and Range varients (detect the damage type like Mahoraga's Adapting does), Melee can switch places with the opponent before turning around and hitting them with an attack. Ranged will cause the opponent to switch places with whatever projectile hit you, either followed up by an attack, or just stunning them to allow for a combo. This can be taken in two directions, ragdoll like manji kick, or act as a combo starter. Balance as you see fit.

I suggest to change the R special on the awakening to the instrument he uses in the Shinjuku showdown, and make it have less cooldown with a faster animation, so you can change positions a lot of times in 1-2s

Personally, I genuinely like this concept for a Toji moveset for jujustu shenanigans, but at the same time, we have to agree it goes way to far from the aspect of how and why people like this game, not for its insane graphics or amazing gameplay, but for its simplicity compared to most battlegrounds every battlegrounds always follows the same concept amazing graphics and animations etc, but the reason why people love jujustu shenanigans is because of how simple it is with its slightly low quality style compared to these higher battlegrounds like TSB, Heroes battlegrounds and all these others, bUt overall great concept!, Keep up the work

5:04 Idea: Variant 1: you pick up the rock and just throw it at people. Variant 2: you teleport as shown here. Variant 3: during the pickup you can press r and if it hits someone you do a short combo but if you miss your boogie woogie gets put on cd like reserve balls + shutter doors.
we dont need a WHOLE skillset. for example. if you make choso, have ONE ability (Piercing blood) where the animation is just holding pressure with hands where a blood arrow comes out. w video tho
this is a whole new level of content, not even just covering the game you are making an entire new character, you're doing what we only WISH we could do, cool as fuck!
Jjs mostly use the common animation which starting slow and putting the arms in the back for 2 frames or so, and only add 2 in between frames and the new pose would be stay in short time and then stop the animation. its like creating a position where we mostly do when we gonna throw an object(im not a roblox animator but just a 2D animator and just sharing my thoughts)
when an enemy swaps position with boogie woogie, make it be so that their screen turns fully white for a half second or so to mimic how weird it is fight with somebody using boogie woogie. This is said by mahito himself and how it can throw you off and i think this small detail can provide a lot to the R special
For move 2/the rock throw, you could instead do this. Press r twice while the move is active it only switches places when it hits the enemy causes a quick stun which allows for a combo. Or maybe something similar to cursed strikes.
Ultimate move for Todo He picks up a flat rock from the ground throws it with cursed energy but instead of being a regular rock It spins into a saw blade like the hanger from the anime if it hits the opponent todo will teleport his foot onto where the rock was and Kick them in the face.
For ult i have idea. yuji shows up and then todos like "shall we get cooking brother" and they are doing that arm pose thing and then in the moveset there is a move where they are just jumping the opp

Man. I've always wanted to develop and have been trying to make animations. Seeing your videos shows how long and how much care is put into animations 😁
One thing I would say to improve the animations would be to make them slower, and to try to take inspiration from the manga, paying special attention to where each body part is relevant to the other parts. But it still looks nice 👍
I don't know exactly what the limits are on what you can do in Roblox, but if there's one thing I'd like to see in your Todo, it would be for it to be more self-focused, most games that have the Todo end up being too close to Itadori, so try to focus on his 1v1 fights (like against Megumi, Itaodori), and his nature of having inhuman strength and very aggressive strikes. Peace:3
Idea: when doing the rock throw, make the ground break when the attack is used, and add a cooldown to the rock teleporting to avoid people running constantly. Idea 2: Make todo m1's be punches like yuji. Todo didnt just start clapping mahito's face durng the fight, he did punches and black flashes. Idea 3: In the awakening, make a black flash move, but when it hits the opponent it turns their screen 15% more blurry than normal. Reason for idea 3: IF todo black flashes me in the face, i would not be able to see perfectly fine, i'd hear that wierd ringing noise and probably have a much harder time at seeing.
Awakening animation idea: if you want to make the animation longer you could either slow it down at the beginning (which also would give it the jjs animation vibe) or you could extend the animation by adding the “jacket fix” before he does the thumb to his chest. Rock throw animation idea: maybe implementing the left arm and leg to the animation to give more of a flow will make it look better
*ideas* rename the ult to “Exception” if it doesn’t already, make the rock still fly when you swap with it. it’s a swap, not a teleport. the rock should still be there add the ability to mark players and items if you hold special, a maximum of 2 players/items. if only one marked, it forces you to swap with the marked item/player. if 2 players/items are marked, they swap with each other

I think to avoid runners to use the rock teleportation, you should do like, if the rock hits someone, R key will only teleport to them, and punch them, so people won't run away, and be able to catch runners
Ive got a combo extender, its a move where you force kick a stone block(like the one you have Done for the throwing animation) and the rock comes up at torso level infront of todo, and if he uses the R move in the middle of the rock move he teleports an enemy. The enemy gets confused and gets stun locked for a second allowing you to combo extend, theres another version of This aswell and its using the same ground slam rock move but on a grounded person, This Will make it so you stomp on them and then make then fly up cause of the impact of the stomp and that makes todo grabb then mid air spin with then and throw them away, This Can be a combo extender cause you Can dash at them after throwing them away, It Will be at the perfect dash level of throwing them back and it Will have the same stun move like the one i Said earlier
I think the Rock, when thrown, should have some level of drop so it doesnt go cross-map, nor just disappear, and when it hits the ground the cursed energy effect could also dissipate.
I think it would be good to have todo throw an attack automatically after teleporting with the rock. for example: rock throw -> R -> automatic punch after teleport

I have a Idea! make a random person in your friends list get to be your besto friendo! but you can like summon them as any person like get a random move set as any charator in jjs it would be a g move to switch to your todo ult and your friends one.but to balance it you wouldn't get any combo extender moves while using your friend.but the non combo extender attacks will do 1.5 more damage then normal. sorry if I'm bad a spelling I'm tired :(

for his awakening, he should have a pseudo domain where it’s a bunch of objects the awakened user could swap with(like his idol). maybe boost his damage or make is so he’s invulnerable while he’s in there but it only lasts ~10-15 ish seconds? idk but it would be cool
If the rock damages on hit, you could make it so instead of disappearing when you use boogie woogie on it, it actually swaps places with you like a surprise attack, or even better make it so you can change places with it multiple times if you wish so, boogie qoogie is about disorienting anyway
Before you do the rock move, you have a start up by sliding or running to grab a piece of the ground and throw it, also make it so you can hit yourself with the rock
An idea would be like in other games where you spawn in one of your roblox friends (as an npc) and then if he hits a person it would be a jump combo. Kinda like the 4th choso awakening move in cursed arena but instead of being a hand its someone on your friendslist. If the user doesn't have anyone on their friends list use ROBLOX or builderman. Another awakening would be using the vibraslap (yes it is spoils) Idk how it would work but what I think is that your boogie woogie has faster animation speed and the cooldown is shorter. The ability would last for a max of 60 and a minimum of 30. If the ability is used once it can't be used again in the same awakening.
I have a skill cut sence idea. It's gonna be named The Best Brother. Once it hit todo will use his boogie woogie to make Yuji switch spot while attacking the opponent (Yuji can be a random player from your freind list.) while clapping you do poses after each clap as you help Yuji clap the opponent.. The the final punch is you and Yuji both doing black flash to the opponent. Hopefully this doesn't sound confusing..(also while posing your face Will be switched to roblox man face. Cuz why not lol)
Have an awakening move be a counter themed around the part where he talks with Takuda (i think thats her name?) in his head and shuts off his cursed energy before the buds hit him. Could have the counter act as him predicting their movements really fast for a counter.
For the rock throw make it so that when the character picks up the rock he does a spin and throws it Make the clapping animation in-between vertical and horizontal In-between( -x +y) for the right hand ,( +x -y ) for the left hand
i personally want tze to add Todo because imagine the black flash finisher in one of the awakening moves is the one where Todo black flashes mahito then the Yuji part is just a random person from your friends list
Maybe you could add some curve to the rock so you throw it at a bit of a curve where your aiming so if there is a player in front of you with a bit of finesse you can curve the rock around them to get behind them.

I think the Rock will be better as a "R" ability, and the 2 attack be just an punch, and if you use 2 with the "R" you do the black flash kick, it would be much more "JJS" like, but being a dev too, i know this is hard, but it's a suggestion :P

Todo being a supportive character all the while being able to do more than fine on its own would be the goal I think like an offensive Support so its supportive move's chaining into an attack would cool

i don't wanna push you completely by suggesting this as i don't know how difficult it would be to both animate and code this, but i was thinking for one of the moves in base you NEED to give him a german suplex like the one he did in his fight with megumi, i don't mean one of those you see in every game that has todo where you tp or do some kind of attacks before it all i want is a raw, clean suplex where you just simply grab a target and slam them with nothing too special about it 🙏 (if you've used todo in cursed arena before the rework you'd know what i mean)

I feel like there should make a mechanism where if you are todo you can look at all the yuji users in the server and make a “besto friendo” request. If you have a besto friendo then you can unlock a move in the alt where both of you do a combo on the enemy

Suggestion2.When throwing the rock Kinda like divergent fist hitting it at a certain time will cause a black flash

So this is my idea, you press r once on the enemy/rock to select them, and press r again on them will make you change places, if you press r on someone else/rock then they both change places, also it would be cool if you add some type of feint for clap, and it would be good to if rock stays for some time in the floor after you hit an enemy, wall, or when it gets into the max range so you can change places with the rock in the floor, also my last idea is when you throw a trash can/extinguisher you put ce on it so you can tp with clap too.

Move Suggestion, a counter.
With Boogie Woogie a counter is a given if you ask me.
Melee and Range varients (detect the damage type like Mahoraga's Adapting does),
Melee can switch places with the opponent before turning around and hitting them with an attack.
Ranged will cause the opponent to switch places with whatever projectile hit you, either followed up by an attack, or just stunning them to allow for a combo.
This can be taken in two directions, ragdoll like manji kick, or act as a combo starter. Balance as you see fit.
is this a game we can hop on and test aswell? if not maybe itll be a great idea making this a public game so that we can help find bugs or add suggestions based on our gameplay

Awaking 4th move:Skull crush (counter) when your opponent hits you the user claps and teleports at the opponents back the and three kicks and then land a strong punch breaking their skull
Awakening 1st move: Besto friendo beatdown you dash with yuji to your opponent and the user and yuji will together beat the opponent and end the move with a black flash
Awakening 2nd move:Brutal boogie slam you slam your opponents on the ground and do a suplex and clap to teleport at their back to slam them twice

Personally, I genuinely like this concept for a Toji moveset for jujustu shenanigans, but at the same time, we have to agree it goes way to far from the aspect of how and why people like this game, not for its insane graphics or amazing gameplay, but for its simplicity compared to most battlegrounds every battlegrounds always follows the same concept amazing graphics and animations etc, but the reason why people love jujustu shenanigans is because of how simple it is with its slightly low quality style compared to these higher battlegrounds like TSB, Heroes battlegrounds and all these others, bUt overall great concept!, Keep up the work

Jjs mostly use the common animation which starting slow and putting the arms in the back for 2 frames or so, and only add 2 in between frames and the new pose would be stay in short time and then stop the animation. its like creating a position where we mostly do when we gonna throw an object(im not a roblox animator but just a 2D animator and just sharing my thoughts)

when an enemy swaps position with boogie woogie, make it be so that their screen turns fully white for a half second or so to mimic how weird it is fight with somebody using boogie woogie. This is said by mahito himself and how it can throw you off and i think this small detail can provide a lot to the R special
For move 2/the rock throw, you could instead do this. Press r twice while the move is active it only switches places when it hits the enemy causes a quick stun which allows for a combo. Or maybe something similar to cursed strikes.
Make it so when R is held you can make an m1 to specify 1 players and another m1 to another player to change them of places

He picks up a flat rock from the ground throws it with cursed energy but instead of being a regular rock
It spins into a saw blade like the hanger from the anime if it hits the opponent todo will teleport his foot onto where the rock was and Kick them in the face.
For ult i have idea. yuji shows up and then todos like "shall we get cooking brother" and they are doing that arm pose thing and then in the moveset there is a move where they are just jumping the opp
Idea: Make the rock linger after it lands so the Todo player can turn it into a temporary boogie woogie target.

Man. I've always wanted to develop and have been trying to make animations. Seeing your videos shows how long and how much care is put into animations 😁
One thing I would say to improve the animations would be to make them slower, and to try to take inspiration from the manga, paying special attention to where each body part is relevant to the other parts. But it still looks nice 👍
I don't know exactly what the limits are on what you can do in Roblox, but if there's one thing I'd like to see in your Todo, it would be for it to be more self-focused, most games that have the Todo end up being too close to Itadori, so try to focus on his 1v1 fights (like against Megumi, Itaodori), and his nature of having inhuman strength and very aggressive strikes.

Idea: when doing the rock throw, make the ground break when the attack is used, and add a cooldown to the rock teleporting to avoid people running constantly.
Idea 2: Make todo m1's be punches like yuji. Todo didnt just start clapping mahito's face durng the fight, he did punches and black flashes.
Idea 3: In the awakening, make a black flash move, but when it hits the opponent it turns their screen 15% more blurry than normal.
Reason for idea 3: IF todo black flashes me in the face, i would not be able to see perfectly fine, i'd hear that wierd ringing noise and probably have a much harder time at seeing.
Awakening animation idea: if you want to make the animation longer you could either slow it down at the beginning (which also would give it the jjs animation vibe) or you could extend the animation by adding the “jacket fix” before he does the thumb to his chest.
Rock throw animation idea: maybe implementing the left arm and leg to the animation to give more of a flow will make it look better
Put a LookVector for when you teleport/switch places, so you end up facing the same direction, the target was facing; Making it more seamless

I think to avoid runners to use the rock teleportation, you should do like, if the rock hits someone, R key will only teleport to them, and punch them, so people won't run away, and be able to catch runners

Ive got a combo extender, its a move where you force kick a stone block(like the one you have Done for the throwing animation) and the rock comes up at torso level infront of todo,
and if he uses the R move in the middle of the rock move he teleports an enemy. The enemy gets confused and gets stun locked for a second allowing you to combo extend, theres another version of This aswell and its using the same ground slam rock move but on a grounded person,
This Will make it so you stomp on them and then make then fly up cause of the impact of the stomp and that makes todo grabb then mid air spin with then and throw them away, This Can be a combo extender cause you Can dash at them after throwing them away,
It Will be at the perfect dash level of throwing them back and it Will have the same stun move like the one i Said earlier
So cool they added one of his clap animations to actual JJS 2:56

If the rock damages on hit, you could make it so instead of disappearing when you use boogie woogie on it, it actually swaps places with you like a surprise attack, or even better make it so you can change places with it multiple times if you wish so, boogie qoogie is about disorienting anyway

An idea would be like in other games where you spawn in one of your roblox friends (as an npc) and then if he hits a person it would be a jump combo. Kinda like the 4th choso awakening move in cursed arena but instead of being a hand its someone on your friendslist. If the user doesn't have anyone on their friends list use ROBLOX or builderman. Another awakening would be using the vibraslap (yes it is spoils) Idk how it would work but what I think is that your boogie woogie has faster animation speed and the cooldown is shorter. The ability would last for a max of 60 and a minimum of 30. If the ability is used once it can't be used again in the same awakening.

I have a skill cut sence idea. It's gonna be named The Best Brother. Once it hit todo will use his boogie woogie to make Yuji switch spot while attacking the opponent (Yuji can be a random player from your freind list.) while clapping you do poses after each clap as you help Yuji clap the opponent.. The the final punch is you and Yuji both doing black flash to the opponent. Hopefully this doesn't sound confusing..(also while posing your face Will be switched to roblox man face. Cuz why not lol)
Have an awakening move be a counter themed around the part where he talks with Takuda (i think thats her name?) in his head and shuts off his cursed energy before the buds hit him. Could have the counter act as him predicting their movements really fast for a counter.
For the rock throw make it so that when the character picks up the rock he does a spin and throws it

Maybe you could add some curve to the rock so you throw it at a bit of a curve where your aiming so if there is a player in front of you with a bit of finesse you can curve the rock around them to get behind them.
