I fall in love again and again with the little baby monkeys that have found their way to the Foundation and now, thank God, have the chance for a secure future.
I love this way of filming the babies, and seeing the workers, makes it feel more like a friend. Thank you for allowing us into the cage! My sight is not that good. This way of filming is so much better! 🎉
Miss Bee is the older sister, then Rudy, and little baby Sister Nova by age, weight, and teeth❤ Got it👍🏼 I sure do enjoy these narrated documentaries, all time learning something about these cuties 🥰 You get better shots close up on the live narrating, but the other videos, are just as great to me,.... Oh who am I kidding 🤣 I LO❤E IT ALL💓 Oh look😍New Volunteers❣️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💘 "Thank You VMF, AND GOD BLESS EVERYONE ❣️
Missy Bee has a special place in my heart ♥️ I’m very impressed by her intelligence, alertness, and bravery. She watches everyone and everything, and she’s very social ! “You *will* be my friend” lol Plus the way she seemed to be trying to help Nova out of the cage, I could almost swear she was copying the volunteer. They’re all adorable 🥰
😊 of course she has a special place in my heart, too. ❤ Miss BusyBee, she seems like. Nova is so very pretty, though. What I'd give to just have a quick snuggle...
@@maxine3587 🥰 “Miss BusyBee” lol Love that! Aw, little Nova✨ is irresistibly precious; the expressions her little face makes are too cute for words. I’m excited to see how the third little guy gets on, bless him ♥️ Oh gosh, a cuddle would be amazing!
They are all adorable, but Miss Bee has a special place in my heart already. Miss BusyBee is the perfect name for her. She is a caregiver already and very quick to catch on. ❤️
I always look forward to seeing the new babies and hearing their stories even though they are sad. Sad they are orphaned but it's nice to know they are being cared for at the VMF. God bless you all. Prayers that all needs are met .🙏🙏🙏❤️
Wow! If I understood correctly, that was Miss Bee, already drinking from the feeding cage on day two!! It goes without saying that all three are too cute for words! I was really interested in the information about the babies not liking to have male humans around, compared to female humans. I'd heard it mentioned once, a long time ago, but this was more in depth. I'd thought it was just that particular monkey a long time ago, so I was surprised /fascinated to find out that's not the case. Thanks very much for the video!!
Love that the new season has started. Looking forward to seeing the babies progress. I 'm so impressed by the work you do at the foundation. It is my dream to one day he able to come there and volunteer to help!
It makes me so angry at some of the circumstances you get these poor babies, but encourages me to see the good humans who step in and bring them to you. I know then you will give them the best life they can have in spite of their circumstances. ❤
Poor little Miss B, imagine injured by a bullet, it's impossible... No wonder she was so nervous and jumpy at the beginning. Little Nova is much more relaxed , but given they both lost their mothers, it's clear that the care they receive at VMF is the next best thing
They learn to get around very young ? I love watching the videos done this way too . Oh my goodness at 30.00 all wrapped up and sleeping they look so adorable ❤
They are really a sweet angels (at the moment)😂..I’m glad to see Sophie back ..she’s great with the babies and all the volunteers also great …Big thank you for your dedication and commitment ❤…I look forward for more episodes..btw how’s Toru? ❤🥰
Thank you very much, that is so kind of you - I love working with the babies and seeing them with their new monkey families. Toru is doing great, he recently did have an eye removal due to a glaucoma but he is all healed up and ready to meet Calyspo's corner soon.
@@DonnaGalloway-bs6xhthe babies are placed with monkey foster mums from 6 weeks of age on site as they require milk until they are one. You will be able to see them progress through the vidoes and meet their new monkey families.
@@DonnaGalloway-bs6xhif you've not seen the process, you're in for an absolute treat!! They are kind of "put up for adoption" by the grown up female vervets. It's fascinating, watching the older females lining up to get a look, or even better a touch through the enclosure the baby is in. They let a female in, and keep trying different ones until baby and potential Foster mum click. She then scoops up the baby, and loves and protects it, just like her own ❤❤❤
Love seeing the little ones! As always it's bittersweet, as they should be with their Mum's but if they can't be, then they're in the next best place! Can't wait to see them meet their Foster Mum's and find their Forever Families! Thank You for all you do! Hugs and Blessings from Maine, USA! ❤🙏🙏🏼🙏🏿❤️❤️
I always look forward to your videos of the babies arriving to a safe place to get the best care ever since they have loss their moms. God bless you all and I am praying for you to get the workers needed to help.🙏❤️🙏
It's great that the VMF is there for these babies but it is sad the VMF is needed and the babies aren't able to live their lives with their moms and troops.
All these babies are so cute and adorable , i love watchin them and hearin about them even tho their stories are sad 😢 but each and everyone of you do a tremendous job carin for them and givin them a new life, i salute you all, how is the little monkey whos legs were fractured and he had concushion...from scotland uk 🇬🇧
I can’t believe just how many have been brought over to America. So many breeds here and all over all the states. I’m right now researching and training to be a foster. We have 1 sanctuary in my state. That’s it. It is so sad. I’m so angry. US gets cold. Even in the states that don’t get any snow. I live in one of the most coldest state in the US where it can get to -40° So many baby monkeys here in the states where they shouldn’t be. 😢😢😢
Pet monkeys have not been brought over here. They have been born and raised here. There are breeders here that breed and sell them for the pet trade. How sad those babies are ripped from their mothers. It is illegal to import a primate into the USA unless you are an accredited zoo or research facility. Even if it was legal, it's cheaper, easier, and less risky to breed your own to sell. It gets cold in South Africa too. Some areas get colder in the winter (single digits and teens at night) than some areas in the USA and yes, there are monkeys in those areas. It gets pretty chilly at night in the winter where VMF is located. Often in the 50's and even in the 40's at night with daytime being in the 70's and low 80's. Monkeys can be pretty adaptable to their climates, especially a lot of the Old World monkey species. Not saying they could survive where you live but they can do well in the southern states. There's a number of free roaming monkey troops in the southeast. Morgan Island, SC (Rhesus Macaques), Silver Springs, FL (Rhesus macaques), and Dania Beach FL (Vervets). Check out The Vervet Project run by Dr. Missy Williams.
We would normally quarentine any new arrivals for 3 days but we are currently training interns and volunteers, we didn't have anyone trained for the newest arrival Rudi. We now have lots of trained volunteers so any new arrivals will be quarantined in Neverland away from our other babies. Hope this makes sense.

MUCH better than living with a caregiver that KNOWS nothing about taking care of a little monkey!!! 😉😉
