@@guitarcollectorguyI noticed on your guitar, mine also, that Harley Benton is starting to put the engraved HB logo on the back plate for all new TE guitars for 2024. They still don’t put the serial number on the rear of the headstock on these cheaper guitars. So I put the serial number on mine using a heated transfer paper to wood kit I found on Amazon.
Nice Guitar!! I did something similar on my TE 62 black DB Gotoh locking tuners, ABM 3455 Bridge, Controlplate all nickel CRL 3-way, switch, CTS Pots and an 22nf cab Häussel Bigmag Neck and a Lollar J-Street T Bridge I don't think I need another tele again
Do the holes on the back of the headstock match up for the Wilkinson tuners? Would all brands of vintage in-line tuners fit easily. I'm loathe to have to drill into the wood, tbh.
HB ended up with a slightly brighter touch .. maybe a little more bite compared to the Fender which may have came down to the type of since everything else was the same . Both guitars look really nice .
Huh! I wasn’t expecting that. there is not a huge difference that I have to agree. yet fender pickups sounds more leveled and Harley Bentons are a little harsh. I also have a TE-30 and thinking about upgrading to usa 2006 tele pickups. Is the difference more obvious while listening in person? Maybe TH-cam compresses the sound, dunno…

Nice color I've been looking at there Harley Benton TE-53KR BL Tribute Series for a while now myself.
The tuner’s holes where the end of their strings go in is very shallow. I drilled mine and made them deeper to ease the changing of strings.

Both sounded really good. Even HB might be a little better
HB is perceptively louder. People have the bias to prefer louder
Why not demonstrate the sound of the HB before and after your mods?

Unfortunately I have not tried the different tuners on the guitar. My experience though is they are not all exactly the same same.
I wanted to get the red one but this is the second video I've watched where it actually looks pink! What is the actual colour?
It is a metallic red. That is why it shows up as pink. It is a little pink though.

Paint doesn't effect toan. Change the nut and string tree would.
