You have to see him singing at the coffee shop with the Hawaiian kid. He happened to go buy coffee and saw a young guy singing his song... amazing and the end of the video is best. I can’t believe you hadn’t head of this legend. He is amazing! Great video. I Rate this song at 1million! 10 in all areas. And i hope to get the muffin joke “ one day🎶🎶
As a lifetime musician, this song moves me... there are many other tunes I truly dig from Matisyahu... this is my first time checking your site hermano y you’ve got another listener and I’m gonna stay in touch, I was born in SC and my father was a bassist as well... don’t wanna brag pero I have played bass on so many songs that are on youtube, I’ve been blessed with having the opportunity to play with many A-listers, and I’m digging out some of my own tunes now, doing a little tweaking on the arrangements and would love for your feedback, dude I think your real and actually know WTF your talking about...I’ll be in touch!
He is a Hasidic Jew I think from Brooklyn. Influenced by rap and reggae. There is a pretty cool video of him dropping into a coffeehouse one man band. He jumped in after the guy recognized him and they did a duet. He had aged a little bit. Got much more greys in his beard and head.
When one day you listen to One Day once, every day you remember it and you can't take it off your mind. What are you doing to us Leonardo. This site is so addictive now. Give me a thrilling song like One Day instead of some Hillsong song or a rap song any day. This is so memorable...
The song sounds like "forever young" by Alphaville. As well as Jay Z's Forever Young I love the lyrics, definitely agree with a rating of 10. Please review " A king without a crown." A great song 🎵
Leonardo Torres, I like you, bro. Even though I am no longer a Christian I love your take on life. You strike me as a guy who can be friends with just about anybody, that you look for the good in people. Just curious, what are your views on building interfaith fellowships? This was something I dearly wanted to do and worked toward when I was an evangelical Christian, but I could not get anyone in the church interested in my vision. Why is it so hard for us to respect another person regardless their religion or political views? We could be so much more than petty squabblers. Anyway, thank you for being a shining light in a world that’s in desperate need of the love and positivity you project. Keep after it, my brother.
Beau, Thank you for your comment. Your question about interfaith fellowships is a great question. in my observation of this whole thing is that people have traded in their true identity for their religious identity. They invest so much time and money into building this religious or political identity that they become something separate. The True Self is completely connected to everyone and everything, I don't mean that in a "NEW AGE" sense, they watered down that entirely. I mean that we all depend on one another. This new Identity in religion separates us and anyone who threatens the structure of it becomes an enemy because your truth contradicts the other. So you can't have two truths exist in the same room because one negates the other. You can't have Christ who said He and He alone is the way and also have Krishna who also said He is the way. No one likes to be wrong, especially when it comes to their identity. In short, what others believe to be true is a threat to who i believe myself to be, not realizing that they are ME. They aren't ready for that level of unity. Sadly. I am an optimist still though, I will die trying to bring unity, or at least die pointing at it. That's all we can really do. Not sure if that answers your question, but I hope it helps. Thanks for spreading love.

You should check out Control by Tenth Avenue North or Indescribable by Chris Tomlin. I know you'll like them.
Control is one of my favorites too!
You should watch the original music video
