Thank you very much for the discussion afterwards. It was so nice to hear a real human.

Well, I know what I'm doing here. I'm listening to a good story read by a great narrator. Thank you Tony!

Imagine a story written 122 years ago with a title that is instantly relevant in the 21st century

Yes, I thought so too. It’s a little creepy!

Captivating, also this time around. Vivid narration, thought-provoking new details missed before. Much appreciated, thank you.

Oh, Yay! It has been a donkey's age since I read this story; and have never heard it read. Thank you, Tony! Today's treat!

    Thanks Tony,
for another fascinating glimpse into a past moment in time and place.
As always your thoughts post presentation are very favourably anticipated.
Certainly I wonder how many of us actually believe in Gods or merely hope that they, or He, She or It exist.
But I do believe in electricty and inspiration. I worship neither.
(That would just be silly, to me anyway ).
I must remark that it's a wonder that anyone childish enough to stoop to name calling in the comments is actually able to spell cretin , given their 4year old mental achievement. But I suppose it is an easy word.
    Cheers Tony. Keep smiling.
    🙃

Your commentary. You are right that Kipling knew of Freud. More importantly Kipling was a Theosophist. You will understand his ideas on the spirit by reading Rudolf Steiner.

I’m more reassured by people who say they believe in God these days, and I myself do not.
