RIP to both of these wonderful musicians. Hope they are playing together on a beach somewhere up there…
Hopefully all three of these legends are having a great time jamming in heaven. Fortunate got to see them here on this side. RIP
Fantastic. This was the Buffett I first loved back before the parrothead era. 🎶
Two of my favorite artists together...bliss. RIP Jerry Jeff and Jimmy!
Jam session in heaven tonight. I love and miss you both. My heroes.
Just heard today that jimmy passed...it just rolled past 4 am...been up all nite watching everything i could find on TH-cam..ill admit some thru misty eyes...havent hurt this bad since merle passed...drinking n smoking....lord knows ill miss em both..
Jimmy was an inspiration for everyone. Taught us how to live & lay back. Always a positive attitude. Became a billionaire with his amazing chain of Margaritaville restaurants & bars. Besides that he had a bunch of great top hits. He wrote about life & he wrote a few books as well. And of course many souvenirs were sold from Tshirts to cups to shot glasses & many items. Imagine now what will sell. He was a humble guy & so.down to earth. As days go by I'm watching his videos & his interviews. I'm learning more & more about him. Rest in paradise as they say. Margaritaville has to be my favorite. My.friend always sang it at karaoke & will not forget those days. I'm glad I learnt about Jimmy. And we have Margaritaville right here in town with a ferris wheel & amusement park recently built. The lights are amazing & can be seen from far. I will continue to listen constantly. His music lives forever.
@@miriamsivec6743can truthfully that I have never read or heard anything bad about Buffett. Think he was truly a good dude
RIP
My Heart still aches over both of these guys, big part of the soundtrack to this old man s life!
Sucks, all my heroes are dying
I can’t get enough of the late great Jimmy Buffett. RIP sailor! 💔
I've been a Parrot Head since before there were Parrot Heads; Memorial Day, 1973, to be exact. I've been a JJW fan since the early 80s. This is an amazing show with JB, JJW and Fingers. I've seen Jimmy numerous times, but JJW only once. Daytona Bike Week, 1990, until I moved to Texas. These men are the epitome of "musical greatness".
Two of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time. Thank God they left us all their exploits forever on videos and vinyl❤
Rest easy Jerry, Jimmy, and now Fingers...
I discovered Jerry way back when disco was getting popular, and all my friends and I revolted and searched for other local live music in the Youngstown Ohio area... we steered toward the "redneck" and blues music... I decided to learn to play harmonica, a long with a friend of mine... we became great friends with other local harp players... and we were on our way to loving bluegrass, country, blues, folk, and harmonica trios, like the Harmonicats... we joined SPAH in 1978, and most of us are still here, and living with all the music that we love !
Of course we all loved Jimmy Buffett since Fingers was such a great part of his music.
Too bad Jimmy didn't treat his musicians better... Fingers deserved better !
Rest in peace, Jerry and Jimmy! We love you!
Two of the best. Thanks for being a big part of my life.
I have always missed Fingers playing with JB. Rest in peace friend I will miss you.❤️❤️😢😢😢
I know he is in a better place with no pain, but I miss JJW being here with us. He is my hero.
@@iancraig5471what’s their drink of choice and what song are they pickin on? Are they playing for my dad who went in June? God I hope so
Saw Jerry Jeff at the Country Music Jamboree in Baton Rouge and Jimmy Buffet & the Coral Refer Band was the opening act.
My 2 music heroes from back in the 70's till forever!!!!!!! RIP fellas.....
Gypsies in the palace. One of his best and one of my favorites. Hopefully he finds that lost shaker of salt.
Love these two playing together. The stories and the commercials too, haha.
I really would like to think these two are singing together today up in heaven just like this!
About 20 years ago, I had the opportunity to see Jerry Jeff in a bar in Texas when I lived in Corpus, great show…
As a parrothead in good standing for over 4 decades. I really enjoyed this! Fins Up!
well ill take yur word yur in good standing , but id love to know what was the first Buffet , that was yur favorite album .
Saw Jerry Jeff at Stanford University back in 1978,I'm pretty sure. The show was him and Willie and I was on my first date with who would become my wife for 41 years before she passed away. But at least we started out together with one hell of a show.
Yep.... I guess I'd say your marriage was blessed by the best. And how many times do you suppose over those 41 years you both reminisced about that first night? I'm sure she's up there listening to them Jam right now with an empty seat sitting next to her waiting for that special guy that took her to that concert so long ago
@@user-zv4hf2er6q not sure how many times we reminisced, a lot tho, but I know we saw Willie 7 times and Dwight Yoakum 5 and many others.
A flashback at every commercial break. And two great entertainers/songsmiths.
This is absolutely PRICELESS!!! "Rest in Paradise Jimmy"...
Been listening all day to tributes on You Tube getting to know Jimmy Buffet since his passing Sept 1, 2023. Buffet stories like I've never known before. But now I'm learning of Jerry Jeff and his son Fingers.
Wow what a tribute to these great musicians, songwriters, performers & entertainers.. Just as @TexasRuby51 was a Parrot Head before they became known as fans I too became a lifelong admirer and fan in Key West. I was one of maybe 500-600 fans who saw JB introduce his Parrot Head band for the very first time at Mallory Square in Dec of 1975 what a show! It was VERY COLD but they jammed for at least 2 hours. JB and "Mr. Bojangles" leave a legacy that will live on forever. I'd be remiss if I didn't recognize the talent and passion that Fingers Taylor played with as a member of the Coral Reefer Band. Also a huge show of gratitude to JB and the CR Band for posting & playing all those concerts during the Pandemic--don't know how I would've made it through that without them! Thank you JLHockey27 for sharing this extraordinary session.
JJW & JB are 2 of my favs. RIP gonzos.
I'm really enjoying this, but I'm also choking up
Two of the best to EVER do it - I could sit and watch this all night
You think some people will just be around forever. Losing Jimmy today and Jerry Jeff a few years back hits hard. I’m sure they’re getting in trouble together somewhere.
I’m not usually envious of any one. I look at the life Jimmy had and I am envious of that. But, I know, I can do a version of it that suits me. That’s what I call a role model.
Thank you so much for saving and sharing this...
Only Fingers is left, RIP Bubba and Scamp..
Two absolute legends and greatest of friends back together again in the Packard in the skys. RIP Jerry Jeff and Jimmy
Buffet was the best! What a journey he did have!
Thank you so much for posting, this is an amazing find.
This is OUTSTANDING! Thanks for sharing it. I saw Jerry Jeff in Belize in 2008 and became a Walker Stalker. I got to see Jimmy at Jerry Jeff's memorial at Luckenbach. RIP Jerry Jeff.
This is just a beautiful video. So sad Jimmy has joined the ranks of angels above.
Outstanding, both music legends, Buffet co-wrote Railroad Lady with JJW. Orginals, earned success.
Love this! Esp the vintage commercials! 🤣
Rest n Party gentlmen... the extra verse in Margaritaville is a first time listen and epic. Also, cool to see the old commercials, wow filmed May 6, 1992- the day before my 19th birthday... weird nostalgic feelings at a weird time...
I met Fingers and Jimmy at USM. Had a couple of classes with Fingers. I remember his "concert" in the Hub at USM. That's when I met Jimmy. RIP guys. Miss both of you.
Yeah I hope 🙏 these 2 awesome musicians are keeping heaven happy with their music. RIP Jimmy and Jerry Jeff..keep everyone Happy up there. My dear ♥ loved ones are there. Miss y'all...
It turns out Jerry Jeff is the real reason I left cold, snowy New England for the warmer waters of South Florida. Thank you, Sir.
Btw, Great Woods in my hometown, is the venue he played the most!!
It's hard to believe that the decades have come and gone with these man and the pinnacle of their career and Jerry Jeff has gone
I love the old commercials too😅... kind of even more nostalgic!
I’ve known Jimmy since Austin 1972. JJW longer. This is is best. God Bless JJW. Fingers too he is not doing well thrilled when I heard Jimmy played a few songs so I pray he’s getting well.
So lucky the last time I Jimmy Buffett that Jerry Jeff Walker opened for him Frisco, TX, May 2016.
THIS IS AMAZING! JB was just an epic person. RIP Jimmy.
REST IN PEACE
JIMMY
JERRY JEFF
FINGERS!!!
I have been looking for this forever - Finally found it makes my heart smile for the great troubadours
He was one entertainer that had magic whomever, including us common folk.
This is great. Thank you 😊 takes me back to better days.
Great video!! This is what songs are about. Thanks for saving and posting!
Awesome shit ! Nice to hear Margaritaville without all that "SALT SALT SALT" crap. lol These were the good ole days!!
What wonderful memories!!!
Thanks for putting this up.
Have seen quite a deal of this show's footage on TH-cam.
It's as though there's very little video of Jerry Jeff performing live apart from this, which is a real shame.
On the other hand, there are numerous, later, concerts of Jimmy in full, most with a full CRB.
Such a gem, full of wordplay and inuendo. A true gift to parrot heads (and Texans) like me.
Big fan of both these guys. Thanks for the post
I am totally in tears, tears tears
Remember seeing both of these two at the Texas Opry house...
God Bless Jimmy Buffett
Classic Jimmy.
That was awesome. I enjoyed every bit of it. Ive been playing there albums alot the last couple weeks. Makes me smile and also tears.
I saw a concert in Hilton Head or Savannah I forget years ago. It was fun and everyone sang and danced and dressed funny lol
Come Monday was his best of his many great songs. Miss him.
Thanks for posting.
My two favorites!
RIP Jimmy
I feel old, these guys were the shit in my day.
Saw Jerry Jeff's shows round 1990 with Guy Clark and Richard Leigh
Just great. Thanks for posting it.
RIP JJ and JB 💓😪
He ain't Jimmy's hero, he's my my fucking hero!
RIP you 3 legends
Missing JJW... And considering Buffett started writing M'ville in Austin, I wish there was a Margaritaville bar and restaurant in Austin.
Fingers was a great teacher. My Dad was teaching shop class, I could wander around back then on n off campus. Great luck for a boy with an attitude and a harp.
Have a MARGARITA for me along with that Cheeseburger in Paradise (Heaven).... what the hell make it a DOZEN!!!!
What a blast......been a parot head since about 1998.
I'm from Oneonta, NY and just found this. If any of you know the connection between Oneonta and JJW, real name Ron Crosby you'll know where I'm coming from. Everyone else...look it up...this has really special meaning to me, I also dated JJW sister
Delightful.
Fair winds Jimmy.
"now the brakeman won't have her", yep she's still ridin that train.
Really great video, only wish it were longer.
That was a great show...rip to both men
Greg "Fingers" Taylor just passed (shown at 9 minutes in)
Love these dudes
When was this event aired?? At least the year?
Sad both are deceased now.
I so loved Bubba's singing voice & songs growing up in south Florida. Plus I loved his attitude towards life and his always having a HUGE smile when speaking with everyone. His wife Jane & family were blessed. Bubba was just too young and wild with his first wife.
😢😢💔💔
@@suzanmiller558 found the year in the posts description so it says 1991.
Love this
"Go Fing" classic
fun. JJ's guitar sounds so much better than JB's.
got to see Jerry Jeff and the los gonzo band in Phoenix at the Celebrity Theater back in his drunk and rowdy days, thanks to Toad Hall from KDKBfm . Putting a drunk pissed off cowboy on a rotating stage, not the best idea , but Jerry Jeff had them cowpokes crying after Mr. Bojangles .
No, I’m not from around here….. But I got here just as quick as I could!
RIP Fingers Taylor.
wonderful of love

Fingers Taylor was a smoking harp player. He played an incredible show with Nola's Johnny Sansone about 20 years ago ans they tore the roof off the Wild Wings in Charleston, SC.. I doubt he really showcased his talents with Buffet.
Amen to that.
Slipped into a bar when I was 15(1975) and was immediately entranced by these guys on wooden stools, picking guitars, having a ball and I never looked back. Jimmy and Jerry Jeff were, from then on, my constant companions...8 track, cassette, vinyl, CD and 19 JB shows, 4 JJW over the years, I am a blessed man. Thank you Gentlemen, GOD Bless you both!
