All those lands were once filled with sugarcane and now the residents suffer with the closer of the 3 sugar factories in the parish. So many other by-products that the world needs but yet still we dumped the industry
They will have to restart the cane business. The world business plan is changing. Just to add, Clarendon is soooo Beautiful as always, May Pen love you, memories of growing up in MP lives, running down Chapleton Rd with the rain behind us, going uptown at Xmas, shopping at MP market, people are kind, and a nice accent. @@ikongchin3088 A number of those warplanes crashed hear too, a Kingfisher (VS-60) disappeared off Portland Point in 1943 and was never found, a B-29 Bomber was purposely ditched off our coast as a training excercise but I don't know wear, a B-26 Bomber crashed in the sea near Rocky Point Jan.7,1945 and it was witnessed by the hold village. Fishermen from their were first on the seen and they picked up one body ripped in aft (6 men were on the plane). Whats left of the plane is still their and their are still eye witness' around and whats more the co-pilot's relitives made contact with me.
@ Nola Blake Reyes, This section of the Highway is from May Pen to Williamsfield Manchester. They are doing it in sections and it will linked to the section in Montego Bay .
Still haven't seen any signs of an exit from the highway unto Glenmiur Rd to enter May Pen. That's y I'm wondering if they will keep the roundabout for this exit.
I think more or likely they will use the exit from Mineral Hieghts to enter May pen coming from Spanish Town direction. And then make another exit to those coming from Mandeville end wanting to enter May Pen.
@@droneviewja might kill some businesses that are reliant on passing trade (trucks/ cars/ tourist [me]) that are currently on the old roads. I love my juicy beef patty but also hate spending my money toll roads. June plum juice is my favourite drink. Blessings from UK.
