Back again with another reaction~ this time I react to "Paper Cuts" by EXO-CBX. I did not expect to get so emotional on this one but I gotta be honest, I really felt that when Baekhyun was singing... it was so beautiful.. Such a fireee performance as usual from Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for reacting EXO-CBX. Paper cuts is emotional song. I remember when Baekhyun got emotional, the lyrics of that part was "I'm going to miss you" something related to Xiumin. Because that was his last performance before enlisted to military.☺️

Yes, this was the last concert of a CBX Tour before Xiumin left for the military. They all knew it was coming, and Xiumin was the first member of Exo to enter service. So with the touching lyrics itself about not wanting to run out time...but this day finally came..
and although Chen can be a rock, strength for all members...Baekhyun realized his brother was going to leave, and he showed his emotions but tried to hold it together as best as he could. Xiumin said he could not even look at Baekhyun, or he would've started to cry...he knew it hit Baekhyun hard, but Xiumin kept it together as best as he could too. This performance got me emotional too. I've seen this song performed before, but this performance had significant meaning for all of them. 🥺💙🌺
p.s., in this specific, final CBX concert..
Xiumin had created a touching solo dance performance of Exo's song "Don't Go", a signature song that Exo would perform as the last song at their concerts...usually after they talked with the audience saying their final thoughts, goodbyes and thank yous. I love this song...it is about the fans..likening the fans to a butterfly, "don't go, I will keep you in my sight and follow where you lead me", I just love it...they make hand motions of a butterfly flying up, absolutely beautiful. But Xiumin performed this song also using a sort of sign language, and the ticking of a clock, sort of saying "the time has come, but please wait for his return, time will pass quickly before we see him again". Damn if this performance didn't make me cry so much...because at that time we all knew the date he was to leave.😭😭😭

My Army sister said this is one of her favourite Exo songs. We shared a room and she used to play this on repeat as she fell asleep. I don't know if she still does cause she got married and moved. This song now makes me miss her.
