You must have good guardian angels to have been led to this most beloved of most Beatles songs. I loved it when it came out, and have found it impossible to hear too many times. Always good to remember...you and we can work it out.

Lol. I can tell you were really enjoying this song. You can imagine when these songs were new, back in the 60's, we couldn't get enough of The Beatles. Their song writing abilities were second to none. They were, and still are the greatest of all time. Thank you for your reaction.

I was a young girl when The Beatles hit America. Although extremely popular, the old guard continued to be concerned that they couldn’t write their own music 🎶 The Welsh heritage has centuries of music being passed on from memory, similar to Native Americans actually. It warms my heart to see young people feeling the joy of their timeless talents! Keep it up! I so enjoy watching your videos! 😽🎶

I was born in 65. I had 4 older sisters which meant I had a ton of 45s and albums to listen too. Cell phones weren't even conceived. I played the Beatles a LOT, and just sat around enjoying it. It was a different time.

That was cool, I'm glad you picked up on that slow triplet part they kept inserting, and then they jump right back into this really addictive relaxed beat and feel.
You may or may not feel like talking about it, but I would be interested to hear why you always record in the car. But ultimately it doesn't really matter to me, because you're just so genuine. I really enjoyed the reaction.

Glad you enjoyed this classic Beatles...so many many hits to get through. Come together is one of their best . Earlier track No Reply is catchy and not played to often so you could start with that one. Keep going. Well done with your reaction. Your joy and happiness is lovely to see.

The really great thing about the Beatles is that they almost never repeated themselves in their songwriting, which must be considered unique among composers

A very classic reaction ⭐! I see 👁👁 that you have reacted to The Beatles before: Ticket To Ride, Yesterday, I Want To Hold Your Hand, All My Loving, I Feel Fine, Nowhere Man, I'm Down, Help!, Can't Buy Me Love, Twist And Shout and Oh! Darling. We Can Work It Out was first released as a double A-Side single with the song: "Day Tripper", in December 1965. It was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It was produced by George Martin. The song reached #1 on the Hot 100 and Cash Box 100. It also reached #1 in Australia, Italy, Netherlands, Finland, Ireland, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Sweden and Rhodesia. The single reached number one in Britain where it won the Ivor Novello Award for the top-selling A-side of 1965. The single was certified Gold by the RIAA, for sales of 1 million, on January 6, 1966.
A promotional film, one of the first music videos, directed by Joseph McGrath was made to support this song. This was done in a shoot on November 23, 1965 at Twickenham Film Studios in London, where they recorded clips for four others songs as well. The Beatles did this so they could get their songs broadcast without actually appearing on the TV shows, clearing their schedules for other matters. They did three different version of their song: "We Can Work It Out", all with John Lennon at the organ.
Paul McCartney wrote this about his girlfriend at the time, an actress named Jane Asher. Paul McCartney wrote the words and music to the verses and the chorus then took the song to John Lennon, who contributed the middle 8.
    Paul McCartney said 🗣:
"I took it to John to finish it off, and we wrote the middle together. Which is nice: 'Life is very short. There's no time for fussing and fighting, my friend.' Then it was George Harrison's idea to put the middle into 3/4 time, like a German Waltz. That came on the session, it was one of the cases of the arrangement being done on the session".
With its intimations of mortality, John Lennon's contribution to the twelve-bar bridge contrasts typically with what John Lennon saw as Paul McCartney's cajoling optimism, a contrast also seen in other collaborations by the pair, including: "Getting Better" and "I've Got A Feeling".
As John Lennon told Playboy in 1980 🗣:
"In We Can Work It Out, Paul did the first half, I did the middle eight. But you've got Paul writing: 'We can work it out / We can work it out' - real optimistic, y'know, and me, impatient: 'Life is very short, and there's no time / For fussing and fighting, my friend".
In 2014, Stevie Wonder performed the song on the CBS television special: "The Beatles: The Night That Changed America", which aired exactly 50 years after the group first performed on The Ed Sullivan Show. Stevie Wonder introduced the song by saying that he first heard it when he was 15 years old. "It had a nice thing to it, but I said, Someday I'm going to do it again, with a little more funky thing with it", Stevie Wonder said when he introduced the song.
The song was referenced by Cecil Kellaway's character in the 1967 film: Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, which focused on the then controversial issue of biracial relationships in the context of US Civil Rights.
It was The Beatles' sixth consecutive number 1 single on the American music charts, a Billboard record at the time.
The song has been covered by many other artists including 📻: Stevie Wonder, Valerie Simpson, Melanie, Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, Plain White T's, Maxine Brown, Brass Construction, Tesla, King Missile, Frances Yip, Judy Collins, Big Youth, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr, Roberta Flack, Leslie Uggams, Kai Warner, Tom Jones, Heather Nova, Petula Clark, Sam & Dave, Humble Pie, Jerry Inman, The Four Seasons, Peter Breiner, Steel Pulse, Barbara Dickson, The Brothers Four, Bethany Dillon, Max Greger, Rick Wakeman, Celso Blues Boy, Deep Purple, Johnny Mathis and more.
    Song Credits 📝:
Paul McCartney - double-tracked lead vocal, bass guitar
John Lennon - harmony vocal, acoustic guitar, harmonium
    George Harrison - tambourine
    Ringo Starr - drums
    Lyrics 📋:
Try to see it my way
Do I have to keep on talking 'til I can't go on?
While you see it your way
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone
    We can work it out
    We can work it out
    Think of what you're saying
You can get it wrong and still you think that it's alright
    Think of what I'm saying
We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night
    We can work it out
    We can work it out
Life is very short, and there's no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend
I have always thought that it's a crime
So, I will ask you once again
Try to see it my way
Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong
While you see it your way
There's a chance that we might fall apart before too long
    We can work it out
    We can work it out
Life is very short, and there's no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend
I have always thought that it's a crime
So I will ask you once again
Try to see it my way
Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong
While you see it your way
There's a chance that we might fall apart before too long
    We can work it out
    We can work it out
    The Beatles Info 📰:
The Beatles were a Rock band, formed in Liverpool, England in 1960, that comprised John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The Beatles' earliest musical influences include Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Gene Vincent. They are regarded as the most influential band of all time and were integral to the development of 1960s counter-culture and popular music's recognition as an art form. Rooted in Skiffle, Beat and 1950s Rock 'N Roll, their musical sound incorporated elements of Classical music and traditional Pop in innovative ways; the band also explored music styles ranging from Folk and Indian music to Psychedelia and Hard Rock. As pioneers in music recording, songwriting and artistic presentation, The Beatles revolutionized many aspects of the music industry and were often publicized as leaders of the era's youth and socio-cultural movements.
Led by primary songwriters John Lennon and Paul McCartney, The Beatles evolved from John Lennon's previous group, The Quarrymen, and built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over three years from 1960, initially with Stuart Sutcliffe playing bass. The core trio of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, together since 1958, went through a succession of drummers, including Pete Best, before asking Ringo Starr to join them in 1962. Manager Brian Epstein molded them into a professional act, and music producer George Martin guided and developed their recordings, greatly expanding their domestic success after signing to EMI Records and achieving their first hit song: "Love Me Do", in late 1962. As their popularity grew into the intense fan frenzy dubbed as : "Beatlemania", the band acquired the nickname: "The Fab Four", with the group's manager Brian Epstein, the group's music producer George Martin or another member of the band's entourage sometimes informally referred to as a "Fifth Beatle".
By early 1964, The Beatles were international stars and had achieved unprecedented levels of critical and commercial success. They became a leading force in Britain's cultural resurgence, ushering in the 1960s British Musical Invasion of the United States mainstream Pop music market, and soon made their film debut in the movie: A Hard Day's Night (1964). A growing desire to refine their studio efforts, coupled with the untenable nature of their concert tours, led to the band's retirement from live performances in 1966. At this time, they produced records of greater sophistication, including the albums: Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966) and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), and enjoyed further commercial success with the albums: The Beatles also known as "The White Album" (1968) and Abbey Road (1969). The success of these records heralded the album era, as albums became the dominant form of record consumption over singles; they also increased public interest in psychedelic drugs and Eastern spirituality, and furthered advancements in electronic music, album art and music videos. In 1968, they founded Apple Corps, a multi-armed multimedia corporation that continues to oversee projects related to the band's legacy. After the group's break-up in 1970, all principal former members enjoyed success as solo artists and some partial reunions have occurred. John Lennon was murdered in 1980 and George Harrison passed away from lung cancer in 2001. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr remain musically active in 2023.
The Beatles are the best-selling music act of all time, with estimated sales of 600 million units worldwide. They are the most successful act in the history of the US Billboard charts. They hold the record for most number-one albums on the UK Albums Chart (15), most number-one hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart (20), and most singles sold in the UK (21.9 million). The band received many accolades, including seven Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards, an Academy Award (for Best Original Song Score for the 1970 documentary film "Let It Be") and fifteen Ivor Novello Awards. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, and each principal member was inducted individually between 1994 and 2015. In 2004 and 2011, the group topped Rolling Stone's lists of the greatest artists in history. Time magazine named them among the 20th century's 100 most important people.

      The Beatles Break Up 🪲🚫:
From August 18, 1962 to September 20, 1969 The Beatles consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Their break-up is attributed to numerous factors, including: the strain of "The Beatlemania" cultural phenomenon, the 1967 passing of the group's manager Brian Epstein, bandmates' resentment of Paul McCartney's perceived domineering, John Lennon's heroin use and his relationship with Yoko Ono, George Harrison's increasingly prolific songwriting, the floundering of their music company Apple Corps, The Get Back project (renamed Let It Be in 1970) and other various managerial disputes.
During the latter half of the 1960s, the band members began to assert individual artistic agendas. Their disunity became most evident on their 1968 album: The Beatles (also known as "The White Album"), and quarrels and disharmony over musical matters soon permeated their business discussions. Ringo Starr left the group for two weeks during The White Album sessions, and George Harrison quit for five days during The Get Back rehearsals. Starting in 1969, the group split into two camps regarding who should handle their business affairs. Paul McCartney lobbied for entertainment lawyers Lee and John Eastman, but was outvoted by his bandmates in favor of businessman Allen Klein.
The final time that the four members recorded together was the recording session for the Abbey Road album's song: "The End", on August 20, 1969. Their final meeting with all four band members present was two days later at a photo session held at John Lennon's Tittenhurst estate. On September 20, 1969 John Lennon privately informed his bandmates at a meeting at Apple, without George Harrison present, that he was leaving The Beatles, although it was unclear to the other members whether his departure was just temporary or permanent. On April 10, 1970 Paul McCartney said in a press release that he was no longer working with the group, which sparked a widespread media reaction and worsened the tensions between him and his bandmates.
Paul McCartney filed suit for the dissolution of The Beatles' contractual partnership on 31 December 1970. Legal disputes continued long after their break-up, and the dissolution was not formalized until December 29 1974, when John Lennon signed the paperwork terminating the partnership while on vacation with his family at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. After the break-up of the Beatles in April 1970, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr enjoyed success as solo artists and collaborated with each other on numerous occasions, including on both studio and live recordings.
Rumors of a full-fledged band reunion persisted throughout the 1970s, as the members occasionally reunited for collaboration, but never with all four simultaneously. Ringo Starr's song: "I'm The Greatest" (1973) and George Harrison's song: "All Those Years Ago" (1981), are the only tracks that feature three ex-Beatles' members. After John Lennon's murder in 1980, the surviving members reunited for the Anthology project in 1994, using the unfinished John Lennon demos tapes for the songs: "Free As A Bird" (1994) and "Real Love" (1995) as the basis for new songs recorded and released as The Beatles.
      John Lennon's Assassination 🙏:
In New York, at approximately 5:00 p.m. on December 8, 1980, John Lennon autographed a copy of his 1980 album: Double Fantasy, for Mark David Chapman before leaving The Dakota Hotel with his wife Yoko Ono for a recording session at the Record Plant. After the session, John Lennon and Yoko Ono returned to The Dakota Hotel in a limousine at around 10:50 p.m. (EST). They left the vehicle and walked through the archway of the building. Mark David Chapman then shot John Lennon twice in the back and twice in the shoulder at close range. John Lennon was rushed in a police cruiser to the emergency room of Roosevelt Hospital, where he was pronounced passed away on arrival at 11:15 p.m. (EST).
After John Lennon's passing, historian Jon Wiener filed a Freedom of Information Act request for FBI files that documented the Bureau's role in the deportation attempt. The FBI admitted it had 281 pages of files on John Lennon, but refused to release most of them on the grounds that they contained national security information. In 1983, Jon Wiener sued the FBI with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California. It took 14 years of litigation to force the FBI to release the withheld pages. The Justice Department settled most of the outstanding issues outside court by releasing all but 10 of the contested documents. Jon Wiener published the results of his 14-year campaign in January 2000 in the book "Gimme Some Truth: The John Lennon FBI Files", which contained facsimiles of the documents, including "lengthy reports by confidential informants detailing the daily lives of anti-war activists, memos to the White House, transcripts of TV shows on which John Lennon appeared, and a proposal that John Lennon be arrested by local police on drug charges". The story is also told in the 2006 documentary "The US vs. John Lennon".
The final 10 documents in John Lennon's FBI file, which reported on his ties with London anti-war activists in 1971 and had been withheld as containing "national security information provided by a foreign government under an explicit promise of confidentiality", were released in December 2006. They contained no indication that the British government had regarded John Lennon as a serious threat; one example of the released material was a report that two prominent British leftists had hoped John Lennon would finance a left-wing bookshop and reading room.
Michael Jackson Buys The Beatles Music Catalogue 💰:
In 1985, Michael Jackson purchased ATV for a reported $47.5 million. The acquisition gave him control over the publishing rights to more than 200 Beatles songs, as well as 40,000 other copyrights. In 1995, in a deal that earned him a reported $110 million, Jackson merged his music publishing business with Sony, creating a new company, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, in which he held a 50% stake. The merger made the new company, then valued at over half a billion dollars, the third-largest music publisher in the world.[475] In 2016, Sony acquired Jackson's share of Sony/ATV from the Jackson estate for $750 million. This purchase by Michael Jackson reportedly strained his friendship with Paul McCartney who wanted to buy the music catalogue himself.
      George Harrison Passing 🙏:
On November 29, 2001, George Harrison passed away at a property belonging to Paul McCartney, on Heather Road in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. He was 58 years old. His reported final message to the world was: "Everything else can wait, but the search for God cannot wait, and love one another". He was cremated at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and his funeral was held at the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, California. His close family scattered his ashes according to Hindu tradition in a private ceremony in the Ganges and Yamuna rivers near Varanasi, India.

Paul McCartney didn't perform the song until 1991, when he played it on his 1991 MTV Unplugged appearance. On his 2002 Back In The US tour, Paul McCartney played a solo version on his acoustic guitar.

Hiya The Part you liked where it slows down is because John Lennon was playing a harmonium that they had found on set whilst recording We Can Work It Out . They Loved it so George Martin (Producer ) Included it th-cam.com/video/yBT9LP4Fbmo/w-d-xo.html

Sheray, you are just adorable. I love how you seem to be getting into the BEATLES. Since you reacted to the video for "We Can Work it Out" here, you might like to see THIS video from January 1991 which was on MTV's program "Unplugged." It was about an hour or so long intimate concert in a studio. Paul is 48 years old in this video, he would be 49 that June (of '91) here it is... th-cam.com/video/kYqIoHf-wgU/w-d-xo.html PAUL is performing "WE CAN WORK IT OUT" again. But what is funny about THIS one, is that he starts off with the wrong verse, then stops....and you HAVE To WATCH IT, to see what he DOES then! You will love it, and it will show you how much fun he can be.
You might have to turn up your sound as loud as you can when he steps away from the mic so you can hear what he says, as it's really cute! I have this whole concert on DVD, but saw it when it was first broadcast on MTV that January of '91. (I was 44 then).
The other band members were HAMISH STUART (guitar, backing vocals, with white short curly hair), ROBBIE McINTOSH (guitar, dark hair), PAUL "WIX" WICKENS ( on accordion, he also plays keyboards), BLAIR CUNNINGHAM on drums, and on the right towards the back, the blonde woman playing tambourine is PAUL'S WIFE LINDA (she also plays keyboards) Hamish, Robbie and Blair were in Paul's recording and touring band from 1989 through 1993. Paul "WIX" Wickens has stayed in the band all these years as a current member. Paul's wife LINDA, was in the band since 1971 until a few years before her death from Breast Cancer on April17, 1998 at the age of 56. I HOPE you will do a REACTION to this 1991 performance of "WE CAN WORK IT OUT"

I have an interesting reaction for you. The Beatles - Ticket to Ride 1965.
A duo brother and sister act called The Carpenters started their career in 1968 and covered Ticket to Ride in 1970.
I am suggesting you do both in one reaction! Do the Beatles first of course then do The Carpenters.
FYI there are a lot of song covers of many popular songs. One of which is Dancing in the Street. First done in 19646 by Martha and the Vandellas. Then it was covered by rock band Van Halen in 1982. THEN .... David Bowie and Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones covered it in 1985!

Sorry I didn't check if you had. Revisit it on your own then check out The Carpenters version. Theirs is slower because they were contemporary music but Karen had the most beautiful voice ever heard and MANY will agree. She had perfect pitch and clarity and never needed more than one take. She was a perfectionist with natural talent.
Oh and they lived 10 minutes from me!

I always wondered then if black girls loved the Beatles as much as the white girls did.
I know that they tried to segregate a Beatles concert one time and the boys told them if you do ,we're not playing. Obviously they didn't segregate their concerts.
