Wouldn't the "There's always a lighthouse" website be referencing the end of BioShock Infinite where Elizabeth says that exact line? Regarding the website itself, wouldn't the starry sky also be a reference to the ending where there are stars that are actually "millions of doors" to other universes?
You’re right but I also think it’s definitely hinting at the next game. The whole “infinite universes” thing is kinda what ties Infinite into the first two games. There’s always a man, a lighthouse, a city. As there probably will be in the next one.
Elizabeth’s power has endless possibilities like that of the millions of doors to other universes. Therefore I feel the next game will be more focused on her powers or something of that sort? Infinites ending didn’t really help lmao
It probably is partially referencing that, yes, but it's also a teaser for something new. Hence the tab name being "Stay tuned."
The ending of Bioshock Infinite essentially means the developers can make the next game wherever they want, since the infinite universes thing gives them infinite possibilities.
Maybe it'll happen in space?
We'll just have to wait and see.

Imagine putting the Minecraft title screen seed on a top discoveries list but not the far more significant pack.png seed. The story behind it is insane, too. They WERE using the Minecraft@Home method, but one of the people working on the project decided to check a number of seeds on his own computer. He actually set it up so it'd make an incredibly loud siren jumpscare sound if the program found a match, to wake him up as soon as possible if it happened. Sure enough, it did. There's a great video by SalC1 on the subject.
Good runner-up is the seed of one of the paintings in the game. Yes, really. People looked at the painting of a burning skull and wondered if the backdrop was based on a real world or not. Turns out the guy who made all of the paintings DID use a real MC world as reference for the painting's background, but just enough of it was changed that we would've never found it if it weren't for said artist literally still having the screenshot he used as a reference. Stuff like this is why I have a hard time deleting ancient files from my hard drive.
Yeah I almost never delete stuff from my hard drive. Makes me worry about how many terabytes I'm gonna need in the future...
I feel a good thing to note here is that of Minecraft version Alpha 1.1.1, long considered lost, it was eventually found thanks to somebody not deleting a file for almost a decade.
Shows it may be worth it no matter how many terabytes ya gotta sift through lol

@@cpufreak101 Wow, really? I genuinely had no idea that happened, but that's really cool. I didn't even know there was a version of Minecraft that was only downloadable for a few hours before being replaced!
I just found the Twitter thread by the person who found that version, and the line "never delete anything" is something I think I agree with 100%. I mean god, I used to think my first ever Minecraft world from 2011 was just lost to one too many computer changes, but I found it on an old external drive about two years ago.
A guy I watch called Cybershell also said it pretty well at the end of a video about another video that's been partially lost to time. "If you see an internet video you really like and you theoretically might want to watch it again someday, you should download it. Don't just assume it'll be there forever or that somebody else will do it. Anything can be taken down at any time for any reason. And the only guarantee you'll ever be able to watch something again is if you literally have it backed up to your hard drive."
For the bioshock Easter egg, it was actually supposed to be part of an ARG that bioshock was doing, like There's Something in the Ocean

they actually did a cross over on Teen Titens Go! with freakazoid and Beetlejuice, and since TTG is mostly a parody, there chars poke fun at there own movies and shows even if you hate TTG the ep with them are pretty good

A streamer I enjoy just happened to run an 80-90's cartoon day so I learned all sorts of shows people have been taking about since first school when I thought they were talking a different language XD
What's crazy about the Minecraft seeds, is that a recent seed was finally found from the in game painting with the flaming skull.

So regarding the Synnergist easter egg, Karthik Bala was not only the director of the game, but the co-founder of Vicarious Visions (along with his brother Guha). After selling the company to Activision, they started another studio in downtown Troy, NY called Velan Studios, who released Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit earlier this year. They do have a decent twitter presence, so it may be possible to ask if the guide still exists, and where it is if so.
That cow easter egg from Wreckfest appeared in two more tracks in the game. The first is Wrecknado, where they're seen in a tent, with one in a UFO of all things, and in Wrecking Playground, where they can be found watering plants. I have a video of me discovering the Wrecking Playground one on my channel, but I wasn't the one to first discover it.

Hey there is a Easter egg that was announced in gears 5 on the map Icebound, players raced to find it, it was announced by an ex The Coalition employee who now works at res pawn, it’s an ok Easter egg tho, and one more in the map Training Grounds that was pretty complex

I remember when you last covered the stairway easter egg, people were badmouthing the devs for removing what was clearly an incomplete easter egg, I wonder what they have to say now that it's finished
I have to agree. The devs put way too much work into it to scrap it entirely.
@@marhawkman303 It could be argued that they didn't actually remove it since the pressure plates could still be found, I figured they took out the trigger so they could improve on it before letting people use it again
@@JargonMadjin Oh of course, I was saying that it didn't make sense to simply get rid of it. Hiding it then coming back to fix it later makes perfect sense.
@@marhawkman303 If I could make a comparison it was kind of like the teacher picking up your test sheet before you finish answering it, that's what the easter egg was like, the reason it was dropping players and got "removed" was probably because it wasn't finished, they gave it a different trigger after finishing it so that players would get more satisfaction out of solving it again

@@JargonMadjin yeah That's kinda what I thought about it too. It was obviously unfinished. It felt like something the devs were still working on and they made it inaccessible while they finished it.

am I the only one who mentaly prepares before watching an oddheader top 10 video? sometimes its hilarious, but most of the time it creeps you out and breaks your mind.
On the subject of ratcatcher: there was a comic series done to promote Arkham Knight that came out between Arkham City and Knight, kind of to bridge the gap. Ratcatcher *is* seen in the series, but is burned/shocked (can’t remember which) to death by Jason Todd. Whether or not it’s canon, I don’t know, but Ratcatcher does say “I’ve been presumed dead in this city before,” so maybe that’s a hint.

I watch way more TH-cam than I should, but I am not kidding when I say in 2020/2021 there is a sea of bad list channels especially for video games. But Oddheader always consistently fucking delivers. I think him using his discord community properly is a big reason

Some food for thought for the arkham knight easter egg: the new game, Gotham Knights, its alluded that Bruce Wayne has died. And, as the different bat based peeps are called "The Bat Family", the children of Batman are now orphans. Maybe thats why it was in an orphanage?

One time I was playing Pokemon emerald and was near the day care area and was near the trees I found a truck on top of the trees. I was so confused at it.

So the light from the lighthouse seems to get bigger over time, just in case anyone’s curious.
Edit: not only that, but the blue isn’t actually an image, but it seems to very clearly be covering something up, if you look at it after the image has practically been deep fried, you can see that the stars are surrounded by an empty pixel that looks like the rest that isn’t blue. If you look at where the blue ends as well, you can once again see that it’s pixelated. The blue isn’t the picture, the blue is hiding the picture.
The disarming of the nukes brought me and my friend real joy.

Seeing a happy ending to the staircase easter egg makes me so happy. that thing was eating me up inside from how cool it was the first time, and im so glad to see it back to be completed for real.
my thought was "the devs obviously sank a MASSIVE amount of time and effort in to making this" It just felt wrong for it to NEVER see the light of day. You don't build something that massive and just delete it.
Honestly, around that time I was zoning out because it just looked like footage I've already seen in the original video, but when the sky started cracking I was like "wait what, WAIT WHAT? I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS!"
Not even a fan of the game, but this easter egg was certainly one of the ones I wanted to see resolved most.
