I believe yung communication ports is para maconnect mo yung UPS into your computer for online management/tracking ng UPS. Not because it will protect the telephone/routers in surges. If you want to protect your routers from surges, yung power plug nila mismo isaksak sa UPS not the communication cable
Suggest ko is gawa din po kayo ng video about power consumption ng UPS when in charge, in line in usage and other UPS status. As a new UPS user medyo I have questions about those in terms of energy efficiency.

sa office namin, kapag biglang patay at sindi ng kuryente yung ups nasisira agad. even yung battery tinatamaan agad. kahit yung apc na may power surge protection sira agad. kaya ang best practice padin is may avr then ups.

Been using UPS since 2021 until now.. grabi di ko na ma bilang kung ilang beses na na save ng UPS ko yung PC ko from sudden power outage. Kahit mahal eh sobrang worth it din naman kasi pag nag brown out, meron kapang 5 mins power from UPS para maka pag shut down ka pa safely sa PC di tulad nang AVR.
Nag UPS na ako dahil nung AVR pa lang gamit ko, biglang nag brown out samin. Ayun, sira agad yung HDD ko na 2TB na 30% pa lang nagamit ko hayss.
Kaya guys kung gusto nyo humaba ang buhay nang PC nyo mag UPS na lang kayu.
dagdag lang po. ang UPS ay kumakain ng mga 25 watts at ang AVR nasa mga 5 watts kahit naka off PC mo. more or less lang po yan depende sa model/brand. personal experience ko naman 10+ years na akong walang ginagamit na AVR o UPS. deretso saksak sa outlet Pc ko. never nasira PC ko. baka din sa location ng bahay namin o power lines. not sure. basta siguraduhin lang bili kayo ng trusted na brand ng PSU. wag mag tipid sa PSU

Mag kaibang use ng avr sa ups.. Meron ups na may avr. Need mo parin avr.. ok lng sa power surge ung ups. My basic avr functions lng mga modern ups.. nag switch sa battery mode pag hinde unstable main.
Sir pwede ba sa heavy use ang ups? Halimbawa maglalaro ako ng 8-10 hours a day? Kaya ba?

I don't spek tagalog. We got two UPS (1000va and 2000va) from the Brand Secure because lots of fluctuations during bad weather here in Cavite. Both failed for both AVR function (surge/fluctuation = turn off) as well as blackout/brownout (=turn off) - even when just pull the plug from the socket!!! Now after around 1.5 years and a handfull blackouts the UPS keeps on shutting off after 5-10 minutes. Both of them. And I believe my CPU (AMD Ryzen) from my computer died a while ago due to constant power offs of the UPS. Luckily not more components! PC has 620watt psu but never gets above around 450 watts on full load.
It did the opposite of what it was supposed to be.
Btw..not sure why everybody says brownout when it is in fact almost always a blackout. Anyways.
So far no issue with the pure AVR for our TV, even tho it is the cheapest, also Secure 500va with relay. Yes, power is gone as well, but no issues with surges/fluctuations.
I ordered now another AVR (Himark SVR 1500va) with servo motor for the PC.

Nice vid as always pcx , pero nakalimutan nyo i mention pag dating sa pagbibili ng UPS dapat yung "pure sine wave" yung kukunin nila , mas safe pa sa sensitive electronics katulad nga ng Power Supply sa pc , sa mga murang ups ksi tuwing lilipat sya sa battery , may maririnig ka na parang buzzing or electrical noise pag lumapit ka sa PC , pero yang UPS na dinemo nyo sa vud , solid na yan , pure sine wave inverter na , wala ka maririnig na ingay , di sya dahil luma na UPS :)

I think ung ups can help pag nag power interruption parang nadin sya generator pero hindi sya masyadong nag tatagal
5 - 15 Minutes. Kaso nga lang ay masaklap kung mag-uupdate yung pc mo for more than 15 minutes. Di pa tapos magupdate tapos biglang namatay na yung pc dahil ubos ja ang batterya ng UPS.

It's hard to use UPS because of maintenance and it costs. The following problem of using UPS 1) when should I replace the battery if its empty? 2) How do i know if the battery is empty? 3) You have to recharge ( there is already a problem when and how to recharge ) and replace ( what to replace the whole unit of UPS or the battery? ..Using a UPS is complicated and it need attention for maintenance. While using an AVR ..no problem, no need for maintenance to recharge just plug it and play.. no headache .
you can buy surge protector kesa UPS. tanging lamang nyan is Backup battery. Kung gaming pc lang naman surge protector is enough mapapamahal kapa sa UPS dahil mas mataas na wattage mas mahal. Take note din yung battery nyan nag dedegrade in the long run. Kung safe lang hanap mo. Surge protector is enough
Masama po sa computer ang biglaang nashushutdown in the long run.. pwedi po magloko OS o yung mismong powersupply ng PC mo. Kaya mas recommended parin UPS..

Sir, thank u sa napakagandang explanation ng video mo. 😊 Tanong lang po... Meron po akong nakita sa shopee na UPS with AVR system na daw. Wala pa po akong AVR sa pc ko, meaning po ba nun, di ko na kailangan bumili ng AVR dahil may AVR system na daw yung UPS? Or kailangan ko pa rin bumili ng AVR para sa pc ko po? Madalas po kasi ang power interruption dito sa amin dahil sa tinatayong mga poste ng kuryente. Nagwoworry din po ako sa biglaang pagtaas baba ng daloy ng kuryente. Mataas po ang lugar namin at dahil madalas ang bagyo, madalas ang pag kulog at kidlat..saan po ba ako makakatipid?
Hi. Nabasa ko lng comment mo. Share ko lng Ang pagkakaalam ko. Kung may UPS ka Po no need to plug sa AVR direct nakaplug ang UPS sa wall outlet. At NO need to plug Ang AVR to UPS kung mag iplug ka Po sa OUTLET ng UPS make walang ANTI SURGE Yung EXTENSION mo POWER STRIPS(extension cord) kung kulang mga outlet mo sa ups and make sure kaya Ng UPS Yung load. May anti surge na mga UPS. Beware na lng Po sa pagbili Ng fake online. Much better kung may warranty Ang product na bibilhin. Yung 7 days replacement and warranty 6 to 1 yr.

no electrical engineering background here...ask lang po ako. pwede po ba gamiting sabay ang avr and ups? sabay meaning i-connect ang avr sa ups or vice versa?
Downside lng ng UPS is most of the brands walang support sa battery niya kung kailangan na palitan in other words walang spare parts. MOstly UPS brands 2 years lang ang longevity niya so I just go with AVR.

Question, Do you need a grounded outlet(3 prong outlet) for ups?
Most of the old houses in ph are just 2 prong non ground. And no ground wiring installed.
Can you still use the ups if the outlet is just 2 prong non grounded?

What about avr servo motor po? Okay lang po kasi sakin kahit na may sudden power loss kasi kapag may ginagawa akong importante, nag ctrl+s ako maya² para kung sakali mawala kuryente. Kung avr po ba pampante na po tayo tapos papalitan nalang ng fuse kung sakali pumutok?

Hello po, sana mapansin ito pero tatanong ko lang po wala pa po kas akong ups at surge protector lang at avr lang meron ako, ayos lang po kung sa ganitong paraan ko po isasak yung pc ko : outlet -> surge protector -> avr -> pc or outlet -> avr -> surge protector -> pc. Thank you po.
