There was a project by some university to launch a satellite with a net that was supposed to catch space debris and then de-orbit it. I don't remember though if the experiment was successful. But it looks relatively easy and cheap.
@@Design_Nerd I have my doubts if that would work. The speeds we are talking about are crazy. The big things that could work for, the tiny thing though, if you aren't matching the speed it'll just fly right through it.

@@Design_Nerd maybe high powered lasers from the ground to knock things out of orbit? But that could mess with the ozone layer also.
