Sorry for the background of my outro being really fast, I didn't realise how fast it was going to be until after I uploaded it onto TH-cam. This issue will be fixed in the next Dencrn video.
lol you deserve 10k subs tbh. I had recently installed Linux Mint with a KDE plasma DE with a macos theme and tbh I can see why MacOs is beloved.. Macbooks are worth it for the M chips, but tbh I am genuinely interested in what software it can provide such as, iMovie. I am considering buying a Mac G3 for nostalgia as well. I think I will dual boot linux and hackintosh.
Honestly when I did it, I really enjoyed it but sadly Catalina is losing support with newer versions of programs, If you plan to hackintosh its best to go for the newest version that your hardware can support. At the time of when I recorded the video I didn't know that the laptop that I used for the video could go on Big Sur (which is the latest with the graphics included still being supported). Edit: I'm considering making a whole video about my experiences with Linux in 2023 mainly with distributions such as Ubuntu, Manjaro, Fedora and Debian. I think it might do really well in views. It will get me back into the linux community since i've been out of it since about 2020 when I last daily drived a Linux distro. *Edit: My laptop can go up to Monterey (which is actually the latest with the graphics still being supported underneath Mac OS)*
What tutorial did you use to do the hackintosh and are you dual booting them with separate drives which is what I want to do so I can use windows and mac
The tutorial / guide I followed was the OpenCore Guide dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/ but the Hackintosh Paradise Discord is also a big help if your extremely new to the hackintosh scene discord.gg/u8V7N5C. I highly recommend avoidng prebuilt stuff like efis and all that. I might eventually make a video on how to dual boot Windows and my Hackintosh installation for the people that want to use both operating systems.
@@Alex13312 I definitely do plan to make a whole video on how to do it. Its going to be the next Dencrn video i'll work on after I release the next Dencrn video, It's going to be extremely different compared to the regular content but its pretty similar to the hackintosh videos!

I'm surprised you don't have more views/subs. This video was made very professionally. The youtube algorithm is truly shameful.
@@MicahDaRhuler Thank you very much!!

i agree he deserves 10k subs, but not 11k that would be absolutely undeserved and unjust!

@@dencrn Yes if you could make a video on how to dual boot Windows and your Hackintosh installation it would be very helpful to me.

I would say try Monterey cuz it works better than Catalina in my experience
I have tried monterey, If you watch my updated experience with a hackintosh in 2024, I use monterey instead of catalina.
