Ep.6 AFRIMIND I Moroccan-German Travel couple. Vanlife is no holiday. Real lows and highs.

Has anyone ever told you what it was like in Guinea-Bissau?
Hm, I would say different for everyone. Traveling depends on the moment we land somewhere, who we meet, what our energies are like, and what comes out of it.
For some people, it would certainly have been the greatest thing ever to end up at a festival by chance on May 1st. Perhaps the whole festival with more sun and therefore more electricity to listen to the live music would have been great for us too.
Maybe it doesn't matter whether something is particularly beautiful or unattractive, it just is and shows us something about ourselves in every moment.
And so I find it difficult to say whether a country or a place is particularly beautiful or not.
The people in Bissau are cool. And those who weren't so cool were perhaps just having a bad day or we had a strange aura at the time and that gave rise to a bad feeling... When I drove through Guinea-Bissau for the first time, we did the destroyed road into the national park, which was amazing. A highlight that we did without a 4x4 this time.
In any case, it's always worth a trip for me to just set off. Ideally, without expectations.
Because every experience is an experience.
And if we don't expect anything, we are more likely to be pleasantly surprised and never disappointed.
Have fun with an episode, that simply is...
I'm sure what you take away from it, has a lot to do with you.  Just as we took a lot away from our passage through Guinea-Bissau.
