@@JamesPartridge-u5y thanks. If you mean the intro and ultimate lead patch demo guitar then that’s my Violet Blueburst Custom 22 core model. I adore it. Plays perfectly for me. On the AC/DC style crunch patch demo it was my Charcoal Blueburst McCarty 594. The finish is amazing on that one. Proper eye candy. I’m a lucky boy to be fair. What’s your main axe? To be fair some of my fave guitars are cheaper ones. I have squiers and Epiphones too
@@JamesPartridge-u5y nice selection there! How do you find your S2 McCarty? I find them a really comfortable shape to play especially on the arm carve on top of the body for the strumming hand. Interesting about the RG. Are you a shredder or just find it fits your ergonomics well?

@ you can’t and I don’t think you can on the boss katana go either. The Bluetooth power is ultra minimal and it lasts over 4 hours straight no problem so not an issue
I figured out the knob reset thing by accident 2nd day I had it. Be nice if say 3 or 4 taps reset all the knobs, but its still a nice thing I use all the time. Doesn't seem to work on the TMP oddly.
@@bub2010 yeah would be nice and easy to implement onto the TMP too. I adore the TMP but this is so handy for just grab and go use. Such a brilliant product for the budget end of the market. I like the idea of being able to change it to toggle between where we had it and reset though rather than just a reset as a second double tap doesn’t go back to where we had it. Would be helpful for side by side parameter comparisons. Or a long press for extra functionality. I’d like the TMP feature that allows you to save your default pedal setups on the MM+ as well. That’s a great help on the TMP
@@Bldyiii I agree that’s the one major omission but they’ve done the same with the top of the range Tonemaster Pro too. I have that and bass amps are coming for that soon so hopefully this will get the same treatment in a future update
@@johnoakleymusic it’s a reasonable practice set up for under $500 in an apartment building. Plug and play with a nice set of headphones. Im gonna go to a music store to hear more legitimate bass pickups through the amp.
@@Clive007 it should only be temporary. If you go back to list view and select a different patch it’ll revert to saved presets. It won’t save it and override it unless you physically choose to save it from the save button.
The problem with this device is that when using Bluetooth, the songs with which one is going to practice start already started and that is annoying. Do you know if there is a solution to this problem?
@@johnoakleymusic Yes, I have a list of songs to practice on those songs with the device, but every time a new song starts, it starts off for a few seconds and it is annoying to play like that
@ I’ve seen issues with that before on certain android phones. It’s instant on the iPhones I’m afraid. Maybe borrow somebody’s higher end S series and see if that’s any better?
@@johnoakleymusic not yours, haven’t tried those, just in general, I go on the app and try to download a preset and it doesn’t work, as I said it just completely wipes an empty preset
@@philiptnt weird, is it connected all fine and you can tweak your own presets? have you tried the audition button on a cloud patch instead of the download button? I think I had some issues one day last week and had to audition then click save rather than download. Probably early release bugs that'll be ironed out buddy
@@johnoakleymusic your presets work correctly in audition mode but every time I try to download them the app becomes stalled and unresponsive ( spinning "hourglass" or whatever it's called) . Tried several other ones from the tone cloud and they download with no issue. Let's wait for the versions / firmware upgrades. Nevertheless, awesome job, thank's for sharing.

Some really good tones via that Ambient patch, especially in parallel with other dropped signal chains, I’ve been having good fun with that one.

I find when I press "Audition" it immediatly overwrites whatever patch I currently have selected, losing the original patch.

The download doesn’t work well for me, it just clears a empty preset completely
