Jeff, another great conversation. Thank you for doing this--it really is a service you are providing by introducing people from the photography world and allowing them to share what is important to them. Much appreciated!
As a Photojournalist in the 70's I was allowed to be near a juvenile elephant, and was nearly knocked down to the ground (The trainer said,"I have never seen anything like that happen as she rushed in" (OR how about "My Dog does NOT BITE") BS !!!!! Does anybody understand that the elephant does n may not understand how delicate the human is in comparison to the massiveness of itself and who knows if they may have an attitude that day, or how they may have been brutally moved into that space or how uncomfortable the animal might have been !!!!! That Model was in "Mortal Danger" !!!!! I am NOT afraid of much but I n We should always be aware of DANGER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF
