sinophobia is scarily normalized. kpop fans wouldn’t dare do this with korean artists or japanese ones. misspelling and mispronouncing an asian name on purpose is not funny. racism is not a punchline.
Oh trust me, kpop fans hates korea. They may not mispronounce their names on purpose like chinese, but they do like almost everything else. Their treatment of japan seems to be fairly neutral or positive though.

Yeah they do. Foreign fans often do go full racist towards Japanese and Korean people too. In south east asian concerts, a bunch of Japanese fans have reported being attacked bc the locals assumed they were sasaengs because they were East Asian. Everytime negative news comes out about kpop, western fans come out to talk about how backwards Korea is to show off how they are superior.

If she already said she doesn't like it and it bothers her, then stop doing it.

It doesn't even matter if it's racist or not. You shouldn't be mocking ANYONE'S name. period. It's immature and childish.
But Ningning is only her stage name same as Karina, Winter, and Gisselle. None of Aespa members uses their real name on stage.
