Sevika is first and foremost pro-Zaun. The main reason she switched from Vander (who she respects for "building the underground") to Silco was because she believes being anti-Piltover is in Zaun's best interest. "We don't hand over our people" is defending and showing pride in "your people" and is very anti-Piltover, but at the same time handing over Jinx would be in Zaun's best interest. I think Sevika might have considered to hand Jinx over, if it wasn't for the talk she and Jinx had in Silco's office ...
I have a feeling that Sevika has a better understanding when it comes to the people of the undercity because it was always her going on "missions" and dealing with a lot of stuff personally, while Silco sat on his "throne". I feel she has what it takes to take over after Silco and maybe even do a better jobb.
"It was affection that held us together" this is so important to show just how much Viktor doesn't feel. He doesn't feel cold, he doesn't feel sad, he is just numb because at this point he is a robot. Affection can't hold them together anymore because Viktor doesn't really feel it. He is being very analytical, he told Jayce to destroy it and he didn't and Viktor had already accepted that he was going to die. In his brain if it is dangerous and it killed someone you are supposed to destroy it. Instead just like always Jayce wanted to do the same thing over and over again and use it.
Hard to know how much of his coldness is because of the physical changes. Viktor was already disappointed with Jayce, frustrated with him wanting to make weapons, getting dragged into politics, etc. Jayce made promises to him and broke them, presumably many times over the years. There was already a rift between them. This just gave Viktor the clarity he needed to leave.
10:15 Another reason why Viktor left Jayce the way he did in episode 2 is because he saw the plans for the hextech weapon he made for Caitlyn when he took Sky's book off the table. Jayce promised Viktor that he would never make a hextech weapon again (a very subtle detail they showed us from Viktor's point of view) Going back to Episode 1, in the last scene where Jayce places the hextech crystal in Caitlyn's new weapon, we see a disturbed look on Viktor's face. It's as if he felt it.
Jayce was supposed to destroy the hexcore, he didn’t. He was supposed to not use hextech for weapons, he still create some for Caitlin and the rest. He was supposed to help the poor with hextech, yet Jayce started discriminating against the underground.
@@MRST0R He used the hexcore to save his best friends life. He was desperate. Viktor was literally dying and there was nothing else that could save him. He created hextech weapons, because he just almost died along with MANY other people, which in his eyes could even include Mel. Good luck fighting chemtanks with those scrappy rifles. He never discriminated against the underground. You guys really hate the guy for no reason.
"Have you had enough?" They cooked so hard with that. I rewatched episode 3 a few days before Act 1 came out and it was the first time I really appreciated Silco's monologue. Awesome call back. And that montage about the power struggle? Chef's kiss.
That one line did a lot. It reflected Jinx's depression - the call of the void, so to speak, inviting her to end it all. It called back to the point of that monologue (enduring pain can forge you into something greater). And along with Jinx's primal scream, it suggested that she isn't done hearing voices; Milo and Claggor were just replaced by Silco. Also, "Sucker" is a phenomenal song and a great sequence about the Chembarons only succeeding in destroying themselves in their bid to take control.
it's so nice watching a reaction channel that actually pays attention and remembers things from the first season. it shows you actually care and are really interested in it!
Jinx is iconic. Imo she's the level of iconic as Darth Vader. Everytime she's on the screen she steals the entire show. It's nothing to do with her looks either she's just a fantastic incredibly charismatic and brilliant character. Incredible tragic character who in her genius she's equally terrifying and awe inspiring at the exact same time.
im almost a little jealous of you guys who dont know what the end scenes are building upto but on the other hand actually knowing is building up the excitement and fear so much its genuinley hard to describe
Same, I know what the ending hints at and my god at the end of each episode my gut just twists in on itself more…I have never felt more afraid to watch the next episode of a show
Love how excited you are from start till end, and you remember everything from last season without know too deep of the lore, just enough, make it more fun to watch, can't wait for next ep.
Victor doesn't always get a lot of lines, but I enjoy every single one of them. Also freaking love the interactions with Jinx. Not the major drama notes so much as the little stuff. Like when when the kid leaned on her.
Always great reactions. Viktor comes out and the first thing he sees is that Jayce did not destroy the Hex-core as promised, but he is also manufacturing Hex-Tech weapons. That's why he says that their paths separated a long time ago, he feels betrayed. The new Jesus-Viktor. Cant wait to see episode 3 and have so much hype this season.
Idk how you did the audio on this, but this is the first time I was able to hear that voice distortion by Viktor that I've heard everyone talking about. What a beautiful show.
My god this show, not a single word spoken, a little montage and a banger song and everybody knows what happened after Silcos death and the current situation in the lanes.
One thing a lot of people don't pick up on is that when Smeech is talking about "making the numbers work," the gang members that work for him all have numbers marked onto their foreheads, aka "making the numbers work" has two simultaneous meanings, because he wants his money managed and his soldiers fighting.
Sky could be her real consciousness being absorbed by the Hexcore which Victor now have full access to... Or... More likely... A vision shown to Victor by the Hexcore in a bid to manipulate him.
SPOILER ALERT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED At first i thought the Hexcore was Void Corruption that sweeped in somehow based on how it looked like but now i am not so sure anymore
The really crazy thing about Sevika's arm is that, on a practical level, it makes absolutely no sense to rely on a weapon that you don't know what kind of attack it does when you pull the lever, but it makes perfect sense in context: Sevika is a gambling lover, in the first season we often see her playing betting, and Jinx understood this, that's why she made to her a slot machine-style armed arm, in fact we immediately see how Sevika smiles and enjoys using it! When she pulls that lever she knows that arm will do something but she doesn't know exactly what. Really crazy detail, right?
It would be so cool if LoL would bring Sevika as a champion with that slot machine arm it would be such a cool champion design if Riot makes it right xD
in your reactions im sure its been said but i think if Haylo disappeared for a while Kiss will become Jinx the girl im sure could not survive without Haylo 😂❤❤❤❤ luv you girls adorable
Christa being scared of Sky is warranted. I am also not sure where they are taking this storyline but i am 100% sure that what Viktor is doing is Blood Magic. League players know what that leads to.
when you both gasped putting your hands to your mouths and we could only see your eyes I realised you gave the same eyes 😂 obvs your sisters but it was very noticeable
IDK if this would ever work for a reaction, but i wanted to suggest and recommend EPIC: The Musical. It's currently still being worked on an is only a concept album but we have 1 more saga left of act 2 and then Jorge will be working on making it a full fledge musical. EPIC is a retelling of Homers the Odyssey. But through Jorge's vision. I promise even if you dont react to it, please check it out. it truly is EPIC.
Hexcore seems to be using the memory of sky to manipulate vicctor. she touched the book, he picked it up. he touches and heals ole boy and she gives him affirmation. something is up. is victor in the game really victor at all?
I just realized Sevika saying "we dont hand over our people" is exactly what vander said in S1 word for word
You can also make a connection with Silco's last words "I never would've given you to them, not for anything"

I agree with everything except the second sentence. Jinx is a legend but Darth vader is on a completely different level

"Carissa, he's Jesus!" lmao 🤣The reaction was amazing.
I like moving from Victor engaging in messianic behavior straight to the devil toiling away in his workshop doing who knows. 😂
