In my experience, the ones, especially the young new male converts, who were head over heels for the virgin Mary had severe mommy issues and issues coping with life. Usually struggled with sexual sin and the likes. Wouldn’t even approach Jesus. Couldn’t even approach Jesus, because they were afraid of Him. They had to go through the mediatrix to get to Jesus. Talk about bad creatures lurking around. It is a CULT.

The answer is always yes. We see the correct answer given by Martha in verse 27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. When it comes to False prophets however, the answer is always no. They will always come up with a reason to completely reject that the person who believes in Jesus has eternal life and the eternal security of the believer. They don't believe God actually saves those who believe in him. They mock God's grace by calling this a license to sin, and calling it easy believism, or greasy grace. What false prophets mean by this is that they hate God's grace. They don't like the way God saves people by believing on Christ and they will never get saved by something that they hate, and they are going to split hell wide open. They don't have God's promise of eternal life because they never believed Jesus concerning salvation, John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. According to John 3:36, they don't have the promise of the first part of the verse, so they have the promise of the 2nd part of the verse. John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: And he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Holy scripture is the word of God it is not bad advice. Abstain from the mere appearance of evil also and perhaps mainly is meant to be applied to yourself, to your behavior and your actions and how they will appear to others. Even if what you're doing it's not truly evil but if it has the appearance of it and other people can suspect you of it then you should avoid it. Then that is wisdom
