Girl groups are evolving, but that doesn’t change the fact that currently, not too many groups exist that convey messages outside of falling in love, or problems in a relationship. Korean girl groups are formed with specific aesthetics and concepts in mind, however, I’m waiting until companies give girl groups freedom to writing their own music, or even to brainstorm new concepts to sing about. ITZY is one of those groups that’s starting to break the mold a little and I’m commending them for trying something new and experimental, and you’re out here acting like a whole smartass.

I’ve been here all along
I've said this before. I love the lyrics a lot. The instrumental is very experimental and overall interesting. The song however will have to grow on me. It really isn't a bad song. It's like the perfect cross between girl crush and a cute, fun concept. I will have to listen to it a couple more times. The girls looked great though. Those outfits were gorgeous

before i heard this song i thought “dalla dalla”, was an intentional misspelling of “dollar dollar”, whereas it’s not at all.
“달라” means “different” in korean, so the title literally means (달라 달라) “different different”, and “dalla dalla” is the romanized version of that, probably used because it looks like how it’s pronounced and it’s used in the chorus of the song whereas they don’t sing “different” in the chorus.

I think that idea was to have Ryujin as the ce ter, but then they tried to escape criticism, so they gave her super small part. And at the beginning she was dressed differently. But after people noticed Yeji, they started to put focus on her. Which is kinda funny, cuz you were scared to do it with one girl, but then do it with another!
To be honest, Yeji was the first one i noticed and remembered as well, thats why by trying to”get to know others” i noticed how the focus is now moving onto her from Ryujin, that was conceptualized as the centre. Chaeryeong is there fighting for her recognition as well, but somehow i feel like Yuna and Lia are getting lost. Not bcs they are less good than other, but somehow i dont see that many people saying how they like them more than others..while its “Yeji” in almost every 3rd comment. Ryujin is still popular, since the beginnings..but it feels like people are hesitant to say it, “not to offend others”, but are ok by mentioning others haha...if you understand what i m trying to say
