In the US, food scented candles are often put in the kitchens of homes that are for sale during showings. “Fresh baked cookies” is the most popular, but all baked goods do well.
People do that in the UK too, use coffee scented candles or brew some fresh coffee, fresh baked bread is good too! I've heard of people who are renting places that cook fish when the landlord puts the house up for sale so they get a bit longer in the rental

Savoury scents are just as delicious as baked, fruity or sweet ones...imagine a fresh bread or roast dinner one...ingenious I hope this works out for you mark.

Ahhh!! I tried buying one, but the shipping costs were almost the same as the candle itself. :/ But it's a great idea, though, if shipping would be less I'd definitely proceed!
Yep, I had the same dilemma about the shipping fees as I usually have to pay extra customs charges when the order comes into the UK as well when I purchase from abroad. It's a shame he couldn't have had the candles made in England, especially since it's the home of the sausage roll.
Where are you guys having them shipped to? When I looked it was only about 6 quid for shipping and the candle is 20.

Actually it's not. A friend of mine years ago requested that I do not give her any Yankee candles that smelled like things she loved. No sugar cookie, no oatmeal cookie, et cetera. I was only allowed to give her things like sage and citrus et cetera

The smell is putting that thing that you have to restrict in the front of your mind constantly. You can flex the willpower muscle, and the more you flex it, the stronger it gets.
