    Beautiful beautiful intro brother. Even better than a movie. Bottom fishing is my favorite. I been hunting for big lings for the last 16 years. I love the actions of ling cod and rock cod give me. Thanks for subscribed my channel. Fishing is my passion and I love all Tru fisherman. Fish on!. See you on the water some day.

      Big lings! Check out the Westin line of lg soft baits. I fish lings at the farallons with the crazy daisy jis (colors that killed lings - robocod - mimics a juvenile salmon) & the brown flat mat (sand dab or sm halibut) the gadus & the red Ed & the big bob. Bought em all after watching them slay lg lings. Retail about 25.00 with a great jig head & 2 bodies paddletail & curlytail.

    That jig is a beast. Couldn't really hold bottom with it at the islands but I hooked so many olives. I even had a tripple hookup with the stock hooks lol

      That's awesome!! Yeah I love that jig!! I have an 11oz that stays down better in heavier current.

      @@BudoFishing oh sweet I didn't know they made a 11 oz version. I'll definitely get one for my next trip! :)

    how did you fish the jig like did your just let it hit bottom and jit it up a couple times and dropp it back down or you stayed contact with the bottom.

    • @BudoFishing
      @BudoFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, just let it hit bottom and jig up a little. Works great!!

    Can't wait to try it out this coming season. Any specific reason you swapped out the hooks for owners top and bottom?

    • @BudoFishing
      @BudoFishing  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a great jig! The owners are super sharp and give a better chance of hook set. Pulled a bunch of doubles that way too!
