DIY Stuffed Fabric Hearts on Sticks

  • Today we're making the cutest little stuffed hearts on sticks that are simply paw-dorable! All you need is a few fabric scraps with teeny pawprints on it, some leftover batting, and some fun scrap ribbons and small embellishments you can easily dig up in your craft stash.
    These pawprint fabric hearts are so fun and easy to make. Perfect for a dog lover's Valentine’s Day craft or dog-themed wedding decor - you can stick them anywhere to add a whimsical loving touch.

    Scrap of pink or red doggie-themed fabric (fat quarter in size)
    3 inch heart-shaped cookie cutter (optional)
    Various embellishments such as silk flowers, heart buttons, flower lace ribbon, ½ inch pom pom trim, baby rick rack, etc.
    Poly-Fil stuffing
    Fabric glue
    1/4 in dowel rod
    Pen
    Scissors
    Sanding block (optional)

    6:44 At this timestamp, your dog looks somewhat skeptical or concerned about that method of glue consolidation, but then dogs don't usually actively craft their own toys [well, not out of actual craft room materials or materials their people would approve of anyway, lol].
