The OP is a fantastic stove. I was a little hesitant because of the cost and because I’m a little old-fashioned, but it turned out to be one of the best purchases. I used it all last season and had zero complaints.

Now MSR needs to make a hybrid of this stove and their own whisperlite. Pump, flame control valve, and stand of the Optimus and the burner of the wisperlite.

Maybe diesel then methanol or such alcohol, liquid paraffin and paint thinner, not sure if also can run on acetone and toluene, those will be interesting to see, thx

@@jiujitsu2000 thanks, oh mm shame alcohol doesn't work, I has read a time ago the jet need to be drilled to 0.78mm and max 0.79mm to work with alcohol, not sure on Wich stove brand, and very good to know diesel work great, thanks again, nice vids
I’ve been watching TH-cam videos for years and have seen wastefulness in the fuel canisters usage for camping and survival, this is the first time I’ve seen this type of portable stove that can use multiple liquid fuel source and is pressurized by pump. I mean I’ve seen the gadgets fertilizer spreaders and water bottle but first time in portable fuel canister, I’m sure it’s been around for awhile but I guess I haven’t seen one until this video. All you TH-camrs that are sharing your wisdom, inventions, opinions, and products are more outstanding people.
