I really appreciate it when you talk about fabric-Rayon vs. Tencel vs. cotton. Thanks for doing that. I have a request. I am looking for shirts with modest necklines, but sometimes, high crew necklines make a big bust look bigger. Please let me know any suggestions. Also, thanks for introducing me to Banana Republic Factory.
I’ll keep an eye out and bring pieces in with necklines that you’ve requested! As a general rule, anything that opens the chest up but there are nuances that I’ll address as I go. 😉

I haven't been terribly impressed with Target recently until your haul. I really liked the look of a couple dresses you featured so I took the plunge and ordered. And I fell in love with the A New Day collared crepe shirt dress. Hel-LO, gorgeous---red, my favorite power color! Yes, I could have gone a size smaller, but I live in the Deep South where humidity during warm weather is a constant issue. Loose and flowing are the order of the day. But with a wide black belt to give me a more defined waist and some dressy flats this dress manages to turn heads and be comfortable at the same time. Oh, my, it's a keeper! Thank you, Oralia!!

Walmart is killing it with the plus size fashion. Target on the other hand completely ruined it and is now bringing it back slowly. They still got a lot of work to do! Please bring back the old plus size fashion you used to have 5 years ago!

The Polka a dot black and white dress was very classy, like Lucy style dress. And the weaven bag is perfect for summer, or near the bathroom with sampoo bottles, folded towels, or small books in it.

So many pretty dresses! That red color was outstanding on you. I hope you can find something else in that color that works for you. Also, the pink dress was another great color on you. I think the purse is cute. Contrasting colors look really good on you, like your striped tops, so I would think contrasting materials like the straw and rhinestones would work great too. Thank you for another informative video. I really like the eyelet maxi skirt for myself so I'm thinking about that one.

@@Oralia_Martinez I don’t know if you remember, but about two or three years ago, they came out with a pair of paper bag waist linen palazzo pants. I ordered them on a whim and they have not only become one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe but they have held up tremendously well.
I do remember them. That’s awesome! I can’t wait to be able to wear this linen dress! It looks very unassuming but when I put it on, I knew it’s a keeper. 😃

There’s a lot of styles with synergy for both. Empire waistline, a line skirts, things that float away from the hips, and wearing things with embellishment on the shoulders to create balance.

I am blind and prefer to touch and try on what I’m going to buy. My husband took me to target after I listened to your video. I was interested in a skirt that Target had. So the target store we went to had a minimal quantity of plus size clothing and absolutely no skirts whatsoever. Not only that, there wasn’t a single person on the floor to ask to help us. I am absolutely completely fed up with retail stores not having anyone on the floor to help customers, and I’m tired of going after products I have heard about on the Internet and not finding them. Not your fault of course and I still enjoy your videos, but I absolutely hate shopping for clothing now because it is such a chore..

The Future Collective is an ongoing collab Target has with various fashion people - they had an amazing one with Kahlana Barfield Brown and then a cool one with plus size fashion editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. I'm not familiar with this latest person but will be checking it out. That blazer was pretty, I hope that there are matching pieces! The pieces usually go up to 4x also.
There were a few, I think maybe shorts? 🤔
The straw tote handles, which turn me off. But, I think cloth ribbon could be wrapped around the handles or even a colored scarf tied around the handle.

ACTUALLY FOR YEARS. IN MY OPINION TARGET WAS BETTER.
ALL OUTLETS AND discount stores have improved with newer name brands.
I think they have brought more designers from Europe. Vietnam.

Sizing can be an issue for so many of us across the spectrum. 😕
I’m sorry but…..those clothes are so not ok. I am a big gal and taller than cutie Oralia but could not pull these dresses off at all. I as a child had two dreams…. Dress design or interior design. Interior design won but being plus size I would love to design for plus size woman. You really need to walk in the life of a plus size woman to experience the woes of finding great looking clothes. There are just some styles that really don’t accommodate big arms , unattractive knees, all the parts we might want to not draw attention to. You need to have options that skinny girls don’t deal with.
Don’t like the big prints. Makes me look larger than I am.
Nothing really trendy, too much material for summer, meaning sleeves and neckline too close .
