That man is a treasure! I grew up (like many others) listening to and being influenced by his music and when I met him in 2003 we hung out for hours picking each other’s minds and talking about music and creativity. The man smoked weed for the whole 5 hours we kicked it 🤣🤣🤣 And he embraced me like a nephew which is why I told him he’s my Unk Funk! 💯
    .
He welcomed me into the P Funk family and the very first time (among several other times) seeing Parliament perform live…I was on the stage with them! He told me that I had dope lyrics too and initiated keeping in touch with him…That’s truly a dream come true!
He told me about being a Rakim fan too, and recited Microphone Fiend word for word.
    LONG LIVE DR. FUNKENSTEIN! 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽

This is hands down one of the best Drink Champs 🏆 interviews. It's so much music history packed in George Clinton. I only wish that more focus was paid on certain albums and other stories about his songs and catalog. "TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY" is one of my favorite K. Dot records, and one of my favorite Funkadelic records is "One Nation Under a Groove" and ofcourse my favorite song by theirs is "Grooveallegiance." salute
