Nice lesson Luke. It’s good to see guitarists taking an interest in Yngwie’s playing. Coincidentally, guitar teacher Wolf Marshall coined the term ‘Harmolian’ in the late 80s for his StarLicks video on Yngwie’s style.
Holy schnikes that was so fast, and melodic and beautiful and makes me realize that I am probably wasting my time were I to ever try and replicate any of it. Super impressive tho. Wow.
Practice to metronome and know there's usually only 3 finger configurations of 3 notes per string shapes. Also he's not alternate picking it all there's loads of legato there to avoid any clunky string changes. I you're interested watch Troy Grady's Cracking the code series on youtube.. Put in the practice and you can do it!
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! THIS IS IT!!!! This is exactly how Yngwie gets away with it. OMG. SPeed isn't the issue... it was that ridiculous hormonic stretches... well this fixes all of that. wow. THANKYOUUUUUUUUUU
Wow. That is a very clever solution to those awkward fingering patterns, and still captures enough of the raised 7's to give it that exotic flavour overall. Great job... and you said you figured this out when you were 14? Wow
He presented thing in our scope..later your mom present something about garden.. Flower.. Kitty.. Then i think it is terrible if someone asking so u got a big beautiful flower then what? Your son will be clever??
