Suisei's version feels like it's full of suffer and pain, she's like literally crying, but with the words, not with the tears. Then IRyS's version sounds more like there's some bright future awaits.

@@TryagainTsai in this song its used to refer to being a vtuber, something that does exist, but also doesnt. They're like ghosts trying to reach out to us, but we(regular people, not fans) dont recognize them as humans, because they are anime. My english isnt very good, i hope its understandable.

Ghost Irys version hits different, feels more poppy and full of hope, compared to suichan regal vocals.
Very fitting considering their personalities. I love it when an artist takes a song and puts their own twist on it, makes it easier to appreciate both versions.

ANOTHER BANGER
Every artist puts their own flavor on a cover and this is all Irys. There is a gentleness to her voice. Suisei has such a large voice that her original is so emotional and touching. Both are absolutely beautiful and stand on their own, neither being, or intending to stand, over the other. Wonderful, Irys! 💎❤️
Suisei's voice has a lot more power, but I think Irys' lighter voice adds its own flavor to the song. If anything was lost in the cover, it's the force of the emotions that Suisei put into it; no one else will ever be able to match that exactly, because Ghost was inspired by her own struggles.
Anyway, Irys did a beautiful cover regardless. Her voice is always fantastic. 💕💎

As a half Japanese who grew up listening to and singing Japanese music for as long as I can remember it's difficult to express in words just how much this song means to me. Hololive has many talented singers and I can never get enough of it, but a performance like this from my favorite EN members just is so meaningful.

Suisei’s original emanates raw emotion and feeling due to its personal ties while IRyS’s cover makes me feel strong and, for lack of a better word, hopeful! Its amazing how a different singer can change the “feel” of a song. Another beautiful cover to add to the list 💎

これこそ「カバー」だと感じた。ただ歌が上手い人が歌ってるのではなく、原曲へのリスペクトを忘れず、丁寧に、所々原曲に寄せ、それでいて己の個性を消すことなく精一杯歌いあげている。
