I am still doing the monthly wash with the conrow and the taking out the conrow on the 3rd month. I am impressed with how my hair is down to my shoulder and thick. I have a goal of 3 years to grow my hair down to my breast or longer😊

It's probably a good idea to get a trim. You don't want the hair to get shorter because the ends have become so fragile they are just breaking off and crumbling away.

I definitely want to try crocheting twists over my medium braids/plaits to try to mitigate the damage. And install myself!

💖 Lindsaychris already responded with a nice clarification to her "Twists are Not protective styles" theory in her last video.
I also stated there that CD has been problematic for years now with her very bad "professional" advices. She also had beef with other hairstylists on YT who were astonished with her advice and practices on her own clients.
Twists are Good protective styles for me and many women.
So keep on doing what is working for you and thanks for your love of our God given beautiful natural hair ❤

@@HeleneGLmarie I can’t help thinking that this comment contributed to the hiatus that we’re seeing on this channel. I watched the video you referenced, and CD was being very disrespectful. It’s funny, because CD can’t take what she dishes out. When AHG made a video reacting to her a couple years ago, she was very upset.
@@enewaabahi I hope it has nothing to do with the CD videos. That woman shouldn't be taken seriously at this point.

I think so but didn’t collect the hairs as the whole takedown to wash day to retwisting took days

Didn't we just talk about how Marley hair wasn't the best hair for protect styles? I could have swore you talked about that in a previous video. And discussed how drying and harsh it is on our type 4 hair...
Maybe pre-pooing with a light oil would've made it easier to avoid the minor hairpiece tangling🤔
It appears like your take down process is sort of random. I would have liked to see you put your protective style in a ponytail and remove one twist at a time. You have yours hanging loose and and it seems unorganized in your process.🤷🏽♀️
