Wish someone could have explained that over 60 years ago when st started Fly fishing. Luckily i keep on ticking so its never too late to learn. Well Done Sir..
Thanks for sharing! I’m always tinkering with line management strategies. This strategy is great when throwing off your strong side. However, what rule do you use on river left when you cast off of your left shoulder? In other words if I throw a cack-handed cast on river left with 7 pulls of line dangling downstream, I might get hung up. Im guessing the 50/50 might need some adjustments. Or maybe a you can suggest a cast around the line on the water?
this would have been a much much MUCH better video if the camera man hadn`t kept following the guy when he cast the line out across the river..i mean its about "Line Management" right ? its not about how well he can cast...pity he didn`t just keep the video camera pointed at the guys hands so that we could see how well he was Managing the line on the retrieve and on the forward cast..Ahhhh well maybe they will re-do it ,,it is after all a pretty decent video and well explained..
