I have a couple of insta's but I also have the XL pro, for quite a while now. I've been plugging it in and then wondering why the battery wasn't lasting as long as they claim. After watching your video and doing what you've said there's a definite increase in battery life so, Thank you!
When you want to charge it up plug it in and switch on the charger, as soon as it boots up I doubt it'll have the charging image on the screen so switch it off using the button on the front then leave it, it'll boot up again automatically and it'll show the battery charging image on the screen now, this is it charging up.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I had a Ghost XL Pro and it was truly dreadful. The battery would not hold a charge and despite reaching out to Drift on many occasions, and the fact it was still in warranty, they would not help at all. Their after sales service is non existent and, interestingly, you will not find an address or telephone number for them anywhere on their website!! I would highly recommend not buying one of these cameras but go for something like the DJI Oslo Action 4, a far better all round camera.

Thank you, I was looking for that reset button.
Glad I could help
Well I followed all the steps, and now mine is charging. Thanks.
Mine wasn't charging either. What solved was charging it from my laptop instead of using a charging brick.
