During the summers of 1970, 1971 and 1972 I had the extreme pleasure of collecting forest research data the length of the Western Sierras for the Forest and Range Experiment Station in Portland, Oregon. This well done video ignited many great memories of visited locations that originated during th California Goldrush!

I'm gravitating toward moving to one of the towns near Yosemite or the High Sierras. I learned a lot after I researched and did a presentation of Yosemite for a middle-school kid a few years ago. I have more of an appreciation of that area after watching this video.

It cost a lot, I live up here and it’s become very over priced, and the peacefulness of the small towns are gone and the roads are clogged with entitles Bay Area tourist who will stop their car in the middle of the road to take selfies.
