Now we want to see one as good as this every two weeks. Absolutely great, fabulous, especially the track sponsons. They are the best part of the kit and you did them justice. Seriously cannot wait to see your next model.
+Martin Collmer Thanks Martin, I wish I could deliver on both those requests! :) My next model will be a very unimpressive on I'm afraid, as I will attempt a build of the "Greif" Halftrack. On the "That 70's build" GB.
+moddeling loonie , Thank you very much, I think you will really like this kit, very relaxing build, lots of fun painting and weathering it. Perfect recipe for dealing with stressing times. :)
super polished media production of a great hobby. I have always been intrigued by the CharB. The Germans had trouble knocking them out and I found that interesting.
+milky55way2012 Thank you for your very kind words! Maybe next year I can pull that off! Thank you for watching I try really hard to make them enjoyable. :)
Carlos, thank you for the video and thanx for mentioning me. The model - as we spoke - is great. I hope that I will be able to help you in the future as well, because with your modeling skills, this hobby becomes real work of art! Great video, great looking model my friend! Now go get some more models around Europe!!!!
+Mitko Nikitov Thank you so much for your very kind words and support my friend, I've had a blast building this model and I think your masks have made me rethink a lot in terms of future builds and painted on markings. ;)
+Bas de Rue Thanks mate! It's not a magazine, it's a series of books that deal mostly with modelling tanks, amazing tips on modeling, weathering, finishing, etc... I really recommend them, they helped me a lot! :)
Absolutely stunning. What a beauty she is. You are a master at modelling! I just picked up the French version of this kit not too long ago, and I'm currently building it!
beautiful. thanks for sharing this, especially as I have just gotten this kit myself. WHEN I build it it will not look nearly as good as yours but I'll use yours as inspiration.
+UKscalemodeller Thank you for watching Ian, I think you will love this kit, it's so relaxing to build, truly a fun and pleasurable build my friend! :)
I work with Magic Tracks and separate tracks from Trumpeter usualy. When I work with Tamiya tracks in Somua I was just wow! They made them better than magic tracks!
Carlos, I just absolutely love your work. You are absolutely a very skilled and talented model builder. The paint work looks excellent. The weathering really makes the tank look the business. Anxious for your next video. Love watching your How To videos as well. Talk with you soon my friend.
Thanks Carlos. Will be good to be back. Definitely by end of November. Working on the NEW work area as we speak. The Swamp Pit is no longer. Had to be retired for undisclosed reasons. Lol. Will be posting a couple videos starting November sometime. Thanks again buddy and look forward to talking with you again soon.
Well done my friend and congrats on placing. It is nice to see your work here once again. An interesting subject to say the least and an inspiration for my future Tamiya WWI MkIV build. Thank you :)
+Switcher Thank you my friend, placing was the icing on the cake, but this kit my friend, oh boy.... I know you would simply love it, it's such fun! Tell you what, if you ever see yourself in one of those mojoless phases again, just by one of these and build it, guaranteed to get you mojo back! ;)
Late post. I just finished this one. Only a little bit more weathering left to do. Easy build...especially tracks. Added same RP barrels and a few Aber brass parts. I'll need to show this one. (I won a 1st, 2x2nd, and 2x3rd place awards for Armor and Diorama at last show.( IPMS/USA Phantom Phlashers) Thanks again, Carlos.
+Adam Mann Thank you Adam, I'm glad you like my friend. As you know I quite enjoy making the videos and it also feels good to present a decent video regardless of the grunt presenting it... ;)
+Carlos Mendes Dude I just rewatched this looking through your stuff. We have to talk about metal next time we Skype. Your bare metal and tools are top shelf.
a lovely model and base, everything fits and blends together to create that awesome realistic look :) saw the real tank this week on tuesday, man, this is a huge beast!
+Hamilkar Barkas Thank you my friend I appreciate it. Even in 1/35 it is a big tank, but I suspect that when you see it live the impact is altogether quite different. :)
Insane detailing and weathering! And, fabulous intense and moody soundtrack to accompany the close up images....great video making it an overall excellent presentation! I would have given you a Gold for that mate! Cheers : )
You have done a phenomenal job on the B1 Bis. Very impressive especially building and painting it in a very short time. Wondering what's going to be your next build?
+Papa Kilo 1/35 Armor Thanks Mike, glad you like it my friend. Next I'm going to continue with the Stug Life GB and then going for "That 70's build" GB, I'll release the Entry vid for that in a few days. :)
+Carsten Sørensen Thank you for watching! The track isn't red but a deep brown with a couple of orange washes, probably the video calibration is a little bit off and that skews the colour a little bit in the way red, I apologize for that, I'll be more careful next time. :)
Excellent video and amazing art, Carlos. I would love to know what colours you used for the base, highlighting and shadowing for your colour modulation. Every time I feel a bit uninspired, I come to this channel and it reinvigorates the spirit. Cheers :)
Superb. I chuckled, in appreciation of the cleverness and thought, when the close-ups showed fallen (maple?) leaves (I presume made by your friend?) on the tank itself. I didn't come across it in your vid - other than your mention of ~1 1/2 week rush until deadline - and am wondering how many hours this entire project took.
Carlos, this video came up after the Male Tank into you did. I have to say this is just wonderful and the music at the end was so good. What music is that? Cheers Al
Thank you, Al! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) The music was purchased off of the Audiojungle webpage. Here's the link to the exact song audiojungle.net/item/into-the-darkness/6493075?s_rank=25
+Carlos Mendes You videos and the work you produce give me such inspiration. As much as I do want to make and upload videos of my model kits, sadly I don't have the time or energy to build most of the time. Mostly because of me adjusting to a new year of school and a grueling sport with it. Another downside is that I do not have access to making videos on youtube because of a broken PC. My channel already doesn't get uploads often enough. I really don't know what to do with my channel anymore. :(
+Joe Makes Model Kits Thank you for your kind words regarding my work, they really motivate me to steam ahead and keep making good quality videos as much as I can. I understand your difficulties, as I have lived that way for many years, it's one of the reasons I really only make a few models a year as you can confirm through my channel. As for the rest, well that may very well be secondary, building the models and enjoying the hobby should come first. Although I can very much relate to not having a good computer or camera to shoot nice video. It took me two years of investment and sacrifice to finally get a good setup for my videos, as well as the help of some very kind and encouraging friends, but I did it. I still have very little time, but I can now use it to a better effect. I know all of these words aren't really much, but I wish that you find it in yourself to keep going and not give up. :)
Absolutely awesome video! I'm currently building the same kit myself for ISM's "I Heart Tamiya" GB so no aftermarket allowed, but i was tempted to go with the German Grey scheme for mine, i think you've swayed me towards the free french forces scheme, utterly gorgeous build mate, top notch! I would like to know though, what did you use to get the metal effect for the rubbed areas of the tracks and drive-sprocket?
The true artist in you is starting to show thru your models. Absolutely stunning..............thank you for posting.
It is so good to see such beauties like this one. Excellent, very good.
+The Brainsmasher Thank you for your very kind words! :)
Now we want to see one as good as this every two weeks. Absolutely great, fabulous, especially the track sponsons. They are the best part of the kit and you did them justice. Seriously cannot wait to see your next model.

Wow you are an absolute maestro at painting!!!
+Abaddon Interitus Thank you for watching and the very kind words! :)
One of the most enjoyable kits to build, ever. The tracks are a winner. I also did the Free French version. Your build is a winner, too.
awesome sauce and congrats on the silver medal, i have been looking at this kit and will buy one soon.
+moddeling loonie , Thank you very much, I think you will really like this kit, very relaxing build, lots of fun painting and weathering it. Perfect recipe for dealing with stressing times. :)

+his1ojd Thank you, I appreciate it. Nice of you to notice it, I have a hard time noticing that myself. :)
Carlos, I just absolutely love your work. You are absolutely a very skilled and talented model builder. The paint work looks excellent. The weathering really makes the tank look the business. Anxious for your next video. Love watching your How To videos as well. Talk with you soon my friend.
+Deron Shank Thanks Deron, welcome back to the community, hope all is well. :)

Adam Mann No problem my friend, but I'll tell you up front it's a combination of things that provides with this result. :)
of course it is. I'd still like to learn
Adam Mann Absolutely will tell you all about it my friend!! :)
a lovely model and base, everything fits and blends together to create that awesome realistic look :) saw the real tank this week on tuesday, man, this is a huge beast!

very very very ( x10billion) good video, good dammn the model looks insane, awesome, incroyable...., GG
I like it! Only one question comes to mind. Why is the spare track on the front red?
+Carsten Sørensen Thank you for watching! The track isn't red but a deep brown with a couple of orange washes, probably the video calibration is a little bit off and that skews the colour a little bit in the way red, I apologize for that, I'll be more careful next time. :)

amazing
+Dano Meza Thank you! :)
Went off to buy the tank book but they are crazy money. Shame as they look really good.
The tank is amaze balls, but it's just good to see your handsome face back on here!
+will pattison Thanks bro, the handsome face needs refurbishing.. HA! Thanks for watching my friend! :)
What did you use for the streaking it looked awesome.
I used some AK streaking product, unfortunately I don't remember which, but any one of them has the same basic formula. Thank you.
thanks, great videos, by the way, I really like your unique style.
I would love to see some build videos from you!
Superb.
I chuckled, in appreciation of the cleverness and thought, when the close-ups showed fallen (maple?) leaves (I presume made by your friend?) on the tank itself.
