  • This is a Mi-T-M surface cleaner used with a 3500 psi pressure washer or bigger. You can't get the bearings from Mi-T-M, you can only purchase the whole housing that has the 2 bearings already installed which is around $125.00. I got the bearing from Bearings Plus for about $17.00 plus shipping which came out to around $25.00. The bearing is 42mmX15mmX13mm.

    Great video. 6302 bearing. For mine, I used an S6302-2RS, stainless with two rubber seals. $6 each (2 required) on Amazon.

    Upon pushing the bearings back into the housing, he should have never hammer it back in. You just end up scratching the inside.
    Just apply little grease inside the bearing housing and outside the bearings itself and it should slide in like butter.
    Also apply small grease between the first bearing and the second as you pushed them done on the piston if you like to call it piston. It will work flawlessly.
    Thank me later

    Are there any o-rings to replace? How does it seal water in? Do you have to take 4 cap screws and locknuts off? I am about to tear a 20" one apart.

      There are no o-rings. All the water goes threw the very center casting. The outer casting then clamps around it. Yes the cap screws and lock-nuts had to come off on this model. The failure in the design comes from not having sealed bearings, and not having the ability to grease the bearings. I hope that this helps you in your repair. Keep on fixin.

      No my friend. There’s O ring to replace inside the house and a small one at the very bottom of the housing.

    Jeremy, the ring you pulled out at 2:10 do you know what size it is. I brought mine and no store around here in my area has one.

    Good video, that swivel looks like the same one on the GP Hammerhead, the BE, Whirl A Way and a couple others, in your opinion is it the same swivel? Thank you.

      Jeremy Raeber yeah I have the 20” similar to that except I can’t get the arms where the tips connect off the main shaft below where the bearings are.
      On yours it’s one long bar. On mine it’s two pieces. I can’t find a diagram anywhere. Do some have Allen keys or refers threading?

    • @jeremyraeber4234
      @jeremyraeber4234  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's because you don't grease sealed bearings. That's why they are called sealed.

      No they don't. Google sealed bearings and read. Call the manufacturers.
