It's refreshing to see a real-life test of the AI's capabilities, showcasing its potential and current limitations.

Totally! If things work, great if they don’t, we need to know that too! 😂 helps everyone imo

Thanks for doing real videos.. We all know this stuff is in its infancy so only going to get better in time.. I think the only part of it I'd need when I get it is the remove tool to clean up images if I'm honest but I can see how you could have fun adding stuff.

Yeah! The generase tool worked great. Definitely would recommend it. GenSwap just needs to tlc lol

I own a copy of Luminar Neo. I asked for a mermaid in GenSWAP and got a penguin.

lol, good stuff. Definitely a mermaid disguised as a penguin, that’s probably what happened. 😂

I think art adapts. Think how prior to photography everyone wanted to paint realism, however since reality could now be captured, art did a pivot and impressionism was born. When cgi techniques became available photography did a stylistic pivot yet is still here. In fact painting is still here. I feel AI will just become another tool for creatives, the trick for us is to adapt to the new landscapes available to us and tell stories or build images that were not possible before yet create that emotionally compelling experience in the now. The question becomes what do we want out of photography and/or art? Where do we want to go? How we get there is no longer restrictive.

this is a very good way to look at it and I think you're right. For photography I think it'll revert back to film where less manipulation can be found and back to a true form.

Been trying for 2 months Luminar Neo , is just not my thing ,been trying to add a bald eagle in the sky with (Genswap) and got a kind of flying flowerpot, even after 8 times it did not make things any better, I will try Neo again in 2027 , for now its deinstalled, back to good ol adobe

I think GenErase is cool we've been erasing things for awhile, GenExpand take it or leaving... I don't use it, GenSwap we'll see

I took out the subscription to Luminar NEO but since have cancelled it and asked for refund. Luminar neo is GIMMICKY especially the lastest GEN stuff. None works.

Overall I’ve loved working with Luminar Neo. The edit tools are quite amazing. The only real issue I’ve had is with this GenSwap tool. Everything else works quite good in my personal opinion. It’s different for sure and takes some getting used to, but that’s with all editors. Gotta figure out the techniques.

Well, I don't agree that Adobe is any better. I had similar results using photoshop like hands turned into wire cables or wire cables turning into modern pieces of art (non-distinguishable objects).

I have definitely had better results with Adobe but I’m going to do an apples to apples comparison video.
